I'm sorry that you feel that way. A lot of us know that feeling. If you want to talk about that, there's plenty of room to start a thread. Perhaps you could do that and maybe we can get to know why you have come to feel that way. People are always here to lend a sympathetic ear.

The problem is, from what I've seen of your posts, you seem to be adopting a judgemental stance. Maybe you haven't been around these parts long enough. Consider whether your interactions with people have been considerate. Invalidating comments can do more harm than good. Even if you have good intentions.

Bear in mind what has been written about this site in the NYT. People are going to question your motives if you display this kind of behaviour.

Why do you keep asking people how old they are? Why does it matter?

It literally says "this site is for people over 18 years old. Minors must discontinue accessing this site"

You can rest assured that I'm an adult. I'm probably one of the older people that have found their way here. I haven't concealed my age really on here, I'm a bit puzzled as to why my age is important though? But if you want to talk the offer is open.

Just generally find trauma a tough topic but necessary. I'm reading a great book about trauma and it's nice For me to come back here now. When I was on here before I was in full on fight/flight/freeze mode. If anyones interested the book is CPTSD From Surviving to Thriving - Pete Walker.
Here's a quote 'Moreover, working with simplistic approaches can leave you stranded in toxic shame when you do not achieve the touted results. I was motivated to write this book in large part because of the many times I sank into new levels of self-contempt when the latest panacea therapy did not cure me. I will use the word "key" repeatedly to describe the various tasks upon which recovering hinges. This book offers a keychain of perspectives and techniques to unlock yourself from being what Alice Miller called a "Prisoner of Childhood."

Sounds like you're taking a step forward. I took a step back by resorting to my various coping methods and I have unsatiated hunger now I'm in emotional flashback. But i was flicking through reddit and saw the article about the Sarco pod. Even if it's expensive it cheered me up that the dialogue about assisted suicide is in the media.

To be honest I expect nothing but appreciate the intention of those trying to help me. My emotions are numb but I owe to myself to try and at least give it a go.

Assited suicide transcends so many intersections of public perception, religion and morality that I can't see it being mainstream but I have my own path should I wish to take it, that is reassuring to me, but like I said it's at the end of a long list of other things to try first.

Perhaps, I'm natural self depreciating and have no self worth but I love everyone else (within reason). Lots care about me and love me but I don't and that is the problem

Im working at it, I owe it to them and to me but ultimately my path is set unless things change, if I can help others in the meantime then maybe I had some worth
