Discussion Methods with lowest SI?

Can you guys rank the methods from lowest to highest SI?

I don't see SN as a good method for someone struggling with SI, it takes hours to carry out, you have to fast, take other medications beforehand, wait a while, and then wait more after taking it. That whole window of time can cause your SI to flare up and make you end up not doing it. Using a gun is better in the sense that it can be done quickly on impulse, but it's very brutal and messy, which can also heighten SI. The ideal method would be one that allows for an impulsive act within a few minutes, doesn't leave a mess, and is peaceful of course, but i don't know any method like this.

It really depends on the individual. Each person has different things that they are comfortable with when they imagine how they will die. You need to do research and determine this for yourself.

Nembutal is the gold standard, the peaceful pill. Impossible to get for most of us.
I wish I could OD on opioids. Seems more pleasant than hanging

Why couldn't you OD on opioids? Is it because the risk factor, or do you not have access?

If you can sleep for 8 hours without waking up in the middle of the night & raiding the fridge (which I actually do sometimes lol), then you can wake up in the morning having completed your 8 hour fast. I don't necessarily think an SN death is peaceful, but I do think it would be easier to down a shot of SN than put a gun to my head & pull the trigger, hoping against hope that I have it positioned right & that I don't flinch. SI is just going to vary with different methods from person to person.

SN is only peaceful if you use it with a high dose of benzodiazepines; then you won't even have time to feel the side effects of SN, you'll pass out first.

Recommend CO asphyxiation

It's not that easy to die from that if using charcoal method. Other CO methods are expensive and unrealistic to many here.
