I have a bottle of Ordine (Morphine Hydrochloride Trihydrate) that's been opened, it was prescribed to my mother around Feb 2024 (for her cancer which she passed from). There's around 160mL left of the 200mL bottle (2mg/ mL).
Although it's been unsealed, it's always been tightly screwed on and stored in a cool dark drawer.
Is that enough to do anything? I read that liquid morphine is not as stable as the pill alternative.
I also have a bottle of haloperidol tablets (0.5mg) but I read that that's a very low dose typically to treat nausea in older patients.
Any help would be appreciated! :)
