Does anyone know where I can buy 1litre bottles of distilled water (for aquarium test)? Just tried Halfords and they only have de-ionised water. @cove or anyone else? :)

as for the distilled water, maybe try other supermarkets in your area? i'm not from the uk so i can't advise on specific stores unfortunately

I can't find distilled water anywhere, apparently stores only sell deionised because distilled is so expensive. Can I go ahead with just a blood test? Or do I need to postpone until I can get distilled water for the aquarium test?

Distilled water can be bought on amazon I'm assuming you want to buy it in person though ?

I'm sure I've seen it in Asda, maybe try 'phoning Halfords or a car accessory shop, they may have it for topping up batteries.

Update: I've made a bit of a stupid error. I'm not a cutter, so i bought the wrong razors and couldn't get the blades out. So I thought it would be a good idea to melt the plastic off with my lighter…only now I've filled my hotel apartment with black smoke from burning plastic. I'm super worried it's gonna have some bad effect on the SN. My SN is still unopened and I've opened the only window I can, though it's not in the same room. I'm a bit panicked right now. I can't risk it if I'm just going to be put back in a hospital again. Will the SN still work???
^^^Ive looked online but can't find anything about SN and burnt plastic smoke, or any type of smoke. Someone please reply I'm really worried about this

Take a few deep breaths. Smoke will not harm things in sealed packages. Take 10 minutes then go back to preparations.

SN is not a highly reactive substance just like that, it's not gonna turn bad within seconds or hours or days unless you make it react with other substances or use high temperatures on it. Don't worry that much about it, you bought it fresh so it's gonna still be good when you open it unless it was never SN in the first place.

Unless you had a full on fire, it should be ok. I am sure some using SN smoke. I bet some smoke a LOT those last hours. If the product was that sensitive, we would have heard about it. Nobody prepares it in a lab environment.

Try with barber shops. Also, ask the cashier: many stores only sell blades behind the cashier (security)

Any of the larger Supermarkets (Morrisons, Asda etc) may have Gillette DE safety razor blades in the Men's toiletries section. Larger Boots or Pharmacies also. Failing that, home improvement or hardware stores should have naked blades for Stanley knifes or Lino cutters.
