The amount is supposed to be 1-1.5 tablespoons. If all that happens in the next 20-20 minutes is minor racing heartbeat and mild dizzy/nausea but not much else then it may have sat around in water too long or dose was too small. Or maybe it's just not your time and the universe has more planned for you, which can also be a viable outcome. Like @Gromit-CTB said, maybe get help and rethink.
