Depends on the people and the relationship. I personally don't consider it cheating. I watch porn and I expect that any dude I date does too. In fact, it can be fun to watch it together if both of you find it enjoyable. But it has been my experience that most dudes get weird about admitting to watching porn, whether we're dating or just friends. What I've been told is that it's because chicks are weird about them watching porn and it can feel like a trap when a girl they're dating brings it up. I think that's dumb because I enjoy both porn and honest relationships.

It's definitely not cheating! I had a boyfriend who revealed to me before I relocated with him that he had a porn addiction, was going to strip clubs instead of going to the gym, and masturbated in his car. It was an addiction that he had for years.

Although at the time I felt like it was about me not being good enough, and I was devastated, I never thought of it as cheating. He hadn't been with prostitutes (thank goodness), but I wouldn't have thought of that as cheating either.

He got help and I moved with him. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever known.

My own very checkered past definitely dictated how I viewed things.

I learned that sex addictions of any type have everything to do with how the addict feels about themselves. For my boyfriend, it came from the complete absence of affection in his family.
