Is suicide a personal choice

I think if we are free to live our lives as we choose, that must include choosing not to live it at all.
Killing yourself is something someone does when they feel that there is no more hope for them and that they don't have what it takes to live in this world anymore Suicide is the rejection of life that it has to offer

A lot of people commit suicide (killing yourself) because they feel the pain they're feeling makes life not worth living.
Suicide is simply end your own life by self. Takes lot of courage to do so.

suicide has profound effects on other people in their lives, which is true. However, many decisions we can make do the same. This isn't a justification to deny someone's autonomy It's your body and your life.

Suicide is the most deeply personal choice a person can ever make. Only the person making that choice can possibly know the depth of pain that has lead to that decision.
Absolutely nobody else has the right to judge and interfere with this most personal of life decisions. Because ultimately we have to go through this process alone due to the fact that suicide is so demonised in society.
If it were not, and people respected our wishes and drugs like Nembutal were made available, then CTB would be so much easier for us to commit.
But either way, absolutely nobody has the right to deny us bodily autonomy. To try and do so is despicable.

If dealing with other human beings like marriage and having kids are personal decisions then dealing with yourself has to be a personal decision .

Yes suicide is always a personal choice and this choice is never made within just a a short amount of time. This decision develops over many months or even years in a person because the reasons for suicide are so many and they are primarily personal. It's the anti-suicide society that makes it so incredibly diffcult for a person who chose to leave by suicide to end their personal suffering and existence in this world. SI alone is such a difficult task to be defeated to do the last step.

To me suicide was always and will always be a legal option under certain circumstances.

Of course, the right to die is a basic human right as without that existence is no different to slavery and imprisonment, none of us are obligated to continue enduring this existence they were so cruelly burdened with in the first place and we are all just destined to die anyway so it's up to the individual when that will be and it's inhumane to try and take away that right.

I personally see suicide as being self care as it's the way to escape from all future suffering in a world filled with endless harm, for me the only relief lies in non-existence, I see existence itself as being the true problem.
