NSFW Instagram and strangers wanting your money (imagine that)

My experience on Instagram, as a male who likes looking at pretty women, both CIS and trans, is that some of them will ask to follow you, then engage you via DMs and either try to get you to send them money in return for spicy pictures and videos, or try to buy them stuff (like lingerie). And they will be persistent. This has happened to me a number of times, lol.

One of the tells is that they try to get you off of Instagram and into another app, like Zangi or Telegram, so they can "get to know you better". Or they'll talk to you every day for a month or two and then ask if you'd like to buy them a gift. And they'll send you a picture of what they want. Money is often exchanged via Apple gift cards that you can send via email.

I really like Instagram because of the wide variety of topics people post about. OTOH, unless you have deep pockets, you have to watch who you follow. Especially if you have a hard time saying "no" to people or are just lonely.

I am extremely rude to anyone who DMs me for money and then I report them. These types are everywhere and they're gross. Most of then are not even real people, they are bots that use stolen/AI pictures.
