I don't identify with the misogynistic incel stuff, but I am forever alone at 22. It is a big part of my loneliness, which is the main reason I'm ctb.
While I'm ashamed to admit the sex is something I want, it's definitely more the emotional intimacy and small acts of affection that I crave the most.

I wouldn't say that counts as narcissism... I think it's similar to the reaction I'd have if I were really hungry and forced to watch footage of someone eating a gourmet dessert while I remained unsated. In other words, it's perfectly reasonable for you to feel that way (not remotely pathetic, at least in my view).

it's interesting for awhile but gets real old. I have no problems in this particular area but I still want to CTB. In fact at a time in my life where I was having more problems with respect to this I did not want to CTB at all.

I guess it's all about perspective. You don't know what you have until it's gone. Even if I had sex I'd still want to CTB, since my problems go beyond that, but I'd be definitely a lot happier, no doubt about that.

Honestly, society just sells us the idea that sex and orgasm are some of the most important things in this world if not the most important things. Preying on our biological impulses, biology doesn't care about our happiness. It's all a ruse to continue the endless cycle of meaningless suffering. 10 seconds of "pleasure" just to doom some poor sap to 80 years of wage slavery or worse. I went through the same phase thinking that being in a relationship or having regular sex would make me happy. I don't think anything can make me happy or content other than drugs.

That's a weird exception to make. I don't have a huge amount of experience with this but I once did a psychedelic. In the moments during the trip it was pure bliss. Not just pleasurable but insanely beautiful as well. However after the effects wore off I felt even more depressed and empty than before.

I consider myself an incel, but unlike a lot of incels who are obsessed with sex, I don't give a shit about it anymore.
There was a time I did care, I don't deny that, but after a particularly bad series of seizures I realized it's very unlikely a woman will seek me and that I will have sex.
A strange release came over - I stopped caring about it. I'm broken, a sort of "leftovers" creature only the most desperate of the most desperate women would care for, mostly Jewish women who follow the standard Jewish script. "You're 30, so you must get married and produce children!"
I found that on various dating apps. The ones who discovered I'm epileptic ghosted, and only the ones wanting children (with parents demanding grandchildren) remained. Sex is not happening, and I'm in peace with that.

I didn't say there aren't any, just that there'd be more. Though I agree the media could be distorting the reality of how many there are.

I still don't agree that wanting a quality relationship means that one has been brainwashed by Disney or any corporation. Just because romance is not available to you or me or many others doesn't mean it doesn't exist for anyone. Certainly an ideal relationship might be way less common than the media makes it seem but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

And again, even if somehow quality romance really isn't real, then that means a prostitute still won't be of any help at all for people who want more than just sex. It would just be wasting their time and money.

Also even for people who would be fine with just sex they might not be able to afford an escort, at least not one who'd cater to their every whim while staying in their budget. Asking a poor incel to just buy a prostitute so they can stop being an incel is like asking a homeless man to just buy a house to stop being homeless.
