A healthy lottery win would be nice so l could buy a bungalow with a 7ft wall all around the property with large pair of electronic gates at the end of a 1/2 mile driveway for grocery deliveries etc. And a huge shed for a vehicle collection! Any cash left over would be left to the RSPCA and Dog's Trust! Oh and not forgetting the large anti climb spikes on top of the wall!

It would solve a couple of major ones and make the hopefully short remainder of my wasted life easier.

in my case if it would help me to be able to lead a better and calmer life that would be a miracle and hope to not think about ctb anymore but in some other cases of people it probably wouldn't help much

Mental health issues (probably not) chronic illness (idk) everything else yes! I would be able to finally move out and get away from these people forever.

Nope--I'm already financially secure, and reside in a beautiful 1500 sq ft condo 1 mile from the beach---My pain is strictly an emotional loss---It could be a 100 million dollar lotto win and I still wouldn't care, it won't bring her back to life, or lift me from my depths of despair
Can u adopt me

Not really. My issue is not with money as I don't care about it (otherwise, I'd get a job). My issue is that I was born the wrong biological sex and have extreme sex dysphoria, which transitioning and gender therapy won't help. Unless there's a way to have me transplanted into a woman's body, I don't think anything will ever help. Money would be nice, but what am I going to do with it?

Winning the lottery would create more problems for me. I would attract people who usually ignore me but now want to use me for money. I hate people.

Depends on how much.. if the amount is enough so I don't have to work anymore then it would solve half of my problems.

I would buy an island, have lots of cats and live a quiet, peaceful life filled with the love of my four legged friends.

I'd definitely stick around for longer with a load of money. Not sure I'll ever be without ideation- but it would take so much pressure off of living. One major reason I want to CTB is that I don't want to be a wage slave again- and I wouldn't need to if I was rich... plus, I could 'save' many of my friends who detest their jobs as well.

Of course not. I've had/lived enough to realize that no amount of money can cure my chronic/incurable/permanent/fateful/terminal/fatal illness or situation.
However, in some part, it may depend on your age. If you are still young enough, money could motivate you to prolong your life, give it a chance and delay ctbing at least for a while.

Besides, even though money can't solve my problems, huge money can make it possible for me to live on my own terms without any unwanted distressing social interactions. That would be good if I'm still willing to live with all my dire problems and without any meaningful loving relationships. And even in that case, I know I'm eventually gonna ctb after some time passing.

I don't usually play the lottery but before I attempt I might spend what's left of my money on lottery tickets. Why not?

I would no longer struggle financially, I could afford food & rent- but I want a simple life. Apartment or a-frame home with my partner & cats- I think even getting dropped with $10k could change my life right now, hell even $5k. $10MIL would be a wild number & any higher is a lot to think about. I think I'd use a lot of it to help some of the community I'm in, & to help certain family members+friends (especially the ones with immense student debt)- & get the medical & mental treatments I need + finally be able to get a breast reduction as well. Wouldn't have to worry about healthcare anymore. People say money doesn't bring happiness- I say it brings choice of what can give you happiness. It gives you power over your life.

Agreed. I'd build communities of low cost housing, build it yourself, hyper adobe houses or tiny homes, community gardens, community garages, a creator's studio(s), workshops, group homeschooling, stores to sell products the community makes to support the community. Start with one then, move to another area and start another.

This is a hard question to answer. Having enough money to live comfortably without worries would be ideal, but having loads of wealth would present it's own set of problems. I dream of having a life partner but I would always think about if they truly loved me, or are they just with me for the money?
No amount of money will bring back my loved ones, nor will it cure my mental and physical health issues, although with the right amount of money I would have access to decent health care which could possibly make a difference for once.
I guess my answer would have to be that having a large sum of money would just mask my problems, possibly make things tolerable for the short term, but those problems are still going to be there under the surface. I would happily welcome the chance to find out though.

Probably not but hell it would help a lot. If I won the lottery I would still have to finish college and suffer the anxiety of completing my assignments. I also have my own fixed view on the world which I don't think will ever change. Maybe I can afford therapy and a girlfriend lmao

having money to live comfortably and never have to worry about working ever again would solve 99% of my problems. would it create new ones? maybe, at least i'd have the opportunity to do things i want, rather than spending most of my life breaking my mind and body doing things i hate for a mediocre wage. i don't belong in this system.

If you were to win a million, 10 million, 100 million, would it solve the reason for you being on this site? Would you still feel suicidal? I'd love to win that much money and I'd probably do some spontaneous stuff with it, but I'd really just plan on leaving it for those I love.
I remember when Anthony Bourbain died specifically, so many were curious as to how a man of his fame and fortune could commit such an act. I understood though, because realistically no amount of money will fix the problems that I face and have faced.
Nope, money doesn't buy happiness. Nor does it stop the suffering but it can help. I don't really care about money

Maybe because it may well be enough to produce my own N and get my life over and done with...

To actually answer the question, no. I already have every materialistic privilege I could want in life. The fact I am still unable to be happy despite this just makes me feel worse.
