Yes but you don't have to be like them with a lot of money you could solve a lot of problems like buying machines for hospitals they can't afford where the family have to raise money to send there children abroad to receive cancer treatment, build homeless shelters, build and fund mental hospitals the list is endless not like them money grabbing bastards.

That is a very kind thought. But once you have money, power and the means to influence others... things may change. I think i remember some dumb phrase that Money is the root of all evil. Or maybe i've been in the lounge to long drinking
edit - Let's say you are rich and want to do those things. (In steps the devil) Someone has something on you, whether real or planted, and tries to influence you. You know the direction this is going.
Edited again - Not to mention they threaten harm to family or friends if you don't comply
