I would first understand what they've done to get better. I'd get them to think about how others will feel, how dangerous their method is and are they sure there isn't a better way.

Whether or not I'd respect their decision would be determined by their reasons/circumstances.

I wouldn't buy any resources for them to do it. I don't want to go to jail for their sake.

Sharing resources and information that is the key. That's what I would do in any case. In the end it's their decision what they gonna do with the information they got.

Probably not. I mean, there are quite a few complete strangers here that I admire and like for various reasons and I would hesitate if they asked me for direct involvement, even when we are on a suicide forum, where I can expect them realistically choosing to ctb and I respect that. For people I know, this would hit thousand times harder 😣

Sharing resources to do it safely and painlesly is fine, but I would expect them to discover these on their own if possible (except cases like sharing sources which is not done openly).

It's such a personal choice...
