Discussion If pain weren't a factor, would you choose a gruesome death?

I find that when my mind wanders to my death, it's always incredibly violent.
very gorey mental imagery of Vivisections or just straight up being beat

I wish I would not feel pain, it would be beyond wonderful to see myself cut open as I bleed out

Sadly I think in reality that would hurt far too much to enjoy the moment

maybe ill get a tattoo thats like cut lines for an autopsy :P

I want to be physically comfortable and able to contemplate my decision and feel at ease with it. To breathe a sigh of relief. I don't mind pain tho, or the idea of people seeing my body in a messed up state.

The idea of being in respiratory distress bothers me a lot. Idk if it's physically possible not to panic when unable to breathe, whereas pain is something I can tolerate (in part thru mindful breathing, lol). Even so, I'd rather not feel pain while going thru the last milestone of my life, if possible.

Even though I don't have access to firearms, I have often envisioned myself shooting myself in the head. Maybe it is because I have seen so many people in the movies execute themselves that way. Other than hanging those are the only violent methods that I have visualized.

Well if it'd be painless, then I'd want to go out with a bang, not literally. Not that I have a particular wish for it to have a bad effect on anyone who might see of course, but...you know, just something that'd be, cool? Memorable? Like doing some crazy stunt and going down that way. Just a fun thought, I think.
