I really need to die, I suffer strong depression and some health problems, I don't want to continue living like this. But I can't do ctb because my mom will suffer, I live only for her.
If I make my ctb look like an accident somehow, would it be easier for my family?

Of course, in any case she will be devastated, but I think if it is an accident she might be able to deal with it slightly better, especially if she is religious. It would be better than knowing that her child killed himself/herself. This is probably only significant factor for me to decide on my method too. I'm ready to sacrifice practical side(easy preparation etc.) of it if I can make it look like an accident.

I think it will be easier for everyone concerned to accept if it was an accident. But the difficult thing is , what kind of accident could you have, and how do you ensure sucdess?

I think for sure an accident is easier to accept. Problem is how would you do that. Go hiking and fall of a cliff? Limited options that look like it could be an accident. I wish you peace.

The only 'accident' I've really seen proposed on these threads is taking N and then shooting up with heroin and cleaning up to make it look like it was an OD. I don't know that it would be much easier to accept. Jumping off a cliff while hiking, while an option, would be high risk + very painful.

I was thinking of taking many sleeping pills and maybe trying to drown in a lake? But then who would find a body.

I agree that an accident would be easier to deal with. There is a certain stigma associated with suicides and many people have this idea that 'it could have been prevented' just because the person ended their own life. With accidents people will be sad but they are likely to accept the fact there is nothing they could have done to prevent it from happening.

Even if it is officially considered an accident, if there is suspicion it may still incur stigma. I had a friend who had a legitimate accidental drug interaction, but a lot of people still thought it was intentional.

I need to make my death look like an accident too, or at least to my family who I know it would hurt the most. My mom has told me she wouldn't survive one of her children dying, which is the only reason I'm still here.
I think if I used the charcoal method it would look accidental, as people already mistakenly die this way. I would camp alone and leave no signs I made plans, aside to maybe a close friend who I trust to handle any affairs.

I wouldn't do it because it probably won't work.
And you end up worse if you try and fail.

There are of course ways how to "arrange" an accident.
A car crash, falling from heights during hiking trips and so on.
All these methods require a high level of determination and willingness to endure extreme levels of fear before the deed.

Most people want to ctb in peace, in their sleep and often drugged to smooth the procedure, die comfortly on their terms.
These methods usually succed.
You don't have that luxury, and on top you can't take drugs to dull your senses, there will always be an autopsy.

That being said, everything can be trained and learned, we humans can condition ourself to execute incredible deeds.
Yet that's nothing that can be learned quickly by most people.
If you want it bad enough you might find a suitable spot in the outdoors, woods, mountains, rocks, hills,...

And if nothing else, outdoor hiking always clears the mind, if you go out there ins search fo a ctb spot, maybe on the way you can see things differntly and give life a chance.
Don't mess with car "accidents", if you are not hell-bent on hitting a strong wall directly at high speed, otherwise that can end really really really bad. No joke.

Good luck

Absolutely. Have any ideas? It's hard to find one that's foolproof and accidental-looking. My method (intraoral gunshot wound) leaves little room for interpretation.

Wouldn't autopsy foil many of these plans? Which leads me to my next question: How to avoid being autopsied?

Of course! I considered this but the risks are huge. I wanted to fall off a cliff on a hiking trail but not sure if I'll actually die. Falling while hiking always looks like a accident because a lot of people die like this by accident.

But wouldn't telling a friend rule all methods out? What makes you think they won't speak up against the "accident"?

Specially while living, that's going to paint a target on you, unless you CTB within the same minute, with a gun in hand or worse. Sounds like you have to think things through a but more, it's not like death gets impatient from putting plans on the back burner.

My parents would've prefer if I die by quick and relatively painless accident than suicide.

Suicide can be seen as a failure to parenting. To them it's a disgrace because they either didn't raise the child right, didn't offer sufficient help in the time of son's or daughter's need, or it can be seen as unloving parents in the eyes of others. There are myriads of other perspective that can contribute to this stigma.

An accident is beyond anyone's control and unexpected; there's no societal stigma involved. There's no reputation to defend and shows no trace of the misery of the deceased.

To answer your question, yes. Your family would cope better if your death looked like an accident.

Interesting question. How can you let it look like an accident? Maybe going camping and putting poison plants on your plate and in reality taking SN?

I wonder if there's any instances that looked like carbon monoxide poisoning but autopsies were performed. I'd like to have it appear as that but to take N just to make sure...

That would be foiled by autopsy.
