Help I bought SN from a chemical shop and it's like a yellowish salt

I went to a chemical lab equipment supplier and purchased a 500gm plastic bottle of NaNO2.
It says on the pack that it's manufactured in 2018 and has no expiration date . .. i opened it and it looks like soft salt and has a slight yellow tint.

Do you all think it will work ?

I am going to try and do the blood test today night to verify .

Other people says that yellow color is normal. The purity is more important and purity usually is being listed on the package especially if it is a lab grade. I assume you got a lab grade because you did mention chem shop.

Yes it's Laboratory Grade and it says 96% on the label ..
