i had a failed partial hanging last night. i didnt do enough to make sure that my bedsheet wouldnt come loose.
now i have a subconjunctival hemorrhage in one eye and some slightly noticeable marks on my neck and face which i assume are petechiae. does anyone have any advice on getting that shit cleared up/hiding it?

New to the group... I feel like this is how I have to go.
Failed at a lot of things in my life, this is all that's left, no failure now.
Hoping I can accomplish this very soon, everyday is a struggle to continue, thinking that there will be an end is the only way I feel a sense of ease.

Many people have tried to pull me away from the thoughts but nothing can fix my life now. My time is here, many things in my life keep signaling that I am the problem. No matter how hard I try to do things right.

I havent look after hanging but i need to ask .if you are ready to do this technic why dont you make and a knot?what is the big deal? There are youtube videos that explain how to do everything

Pain aside, can someone give me a quick tip on how to succeed at it without a fan? I can get a rope, but I don't know/have where to tie it. A door will do? Ironically, all the two doors in this flat don't fully close due to, what I assume are humidity issues. There's a private parking lot in the building, with horizontal metal tubes in the ceiling, but I guess it depends on whether someone will go for their car when I'm doing it or not. I'm also kind of physically tired all the time due to health issues (nutrient malabsorption).

I'm weighting 50-55 kg, and am 1.67 tall.

are you able to block the other side of a door? I have my rope tied around the other door handle with the door locked and because it blocks the door from closing I also have a door jam on it for extra security. Maybe try a heavy object that won't slide too much or a chair or something to brace it?

Really painfull. I woke up in midle of full suspension from railings cuz my foot touched end of the stair as i convulsed, body realised it pushed on it and i regained air and conciousness. That was weirdest pain i ever felt. Unfortunately i couldnt remember what i was doing while regaining conciousness nor did i know who or what iwas so i removed the "thing thats choking me". Iregret it so much

I tried full the day before yesterday, however my SI kicked in so hard that I could not kick the chair.....I have very little time and my mental condition, surroundings and physical is sucking. Any suggestions to overcome SI and any medication that will help? I do have some oxycodone mixed with lorizepam (liquid) and clonipin tablets. Plz be quick in replying.....

I was hanging myself by partial like 2 months ago.
It can be done very easy when u find your "sweet spot" anyway i can't find mine and i hang by an accident.
I got "saved" by my family and they get me to psychiatric ward.
The hardest part is finding your sweet spot, after finding it you just black out and fell nothing until death.
+I used a 10 mm rope and hang from wardrobe bar.

Yesternight I used scarf for full after taking half bottle of corex and five tabs of clonopin 0.5 mg just 20 minutes prior to ctb, that give me little bit peace and courage for ctb. However, when went for after a little while I found myself on floor with noose around my neck. After a little while I gained conscious and loosened my noise. When I saw at the ligature point my ligature was snapped. Tonight I am going to try with a 12 mm braided rope again going for full. Would that work. But I am afraid of burning sensation and discomfort of rope plus my throat is also feeling little bit discomfort and pain ....Is there any proper way to feel minimum agony while using rope. Early responses are appreciated, as I have little time......Even living for a minute is sucking me.......Wish me luck for tonight .....

As far as I know, partial is very tricky and needs too much practice to find the sweet spot .

But seriously, I was wondering the other day - why don't people get an exercise band and do a partial from a pull-up bar? The one I have in my bathroom doorway is on there by tension and holds my bodyweight just fine.

The bands I have to help with pull-up strength training are used in CrossFit and are strong as fuck.

I suppose the flaw would be having a band that was thick enough to hold you but also being thin enough to choke you out.

Probalby the scar on your throat from pressure, and if you get "help" you can be a vegetable till you die.
The most dangerous part is someone find you out.
I was so scared of that but i was uncosncious for like 2/3 mins and nothing happend to me.

I have my sweet spot guaranteed but thats as far as i have right now :(

My ex was abusive, he could find that spot in a second, choked me till i blacked out every time, one would think it wouldnt be so difficult...

I practiced w knot in front as shown on some pics in the wiki. Seemed to pass out quick.

I am considering to use a metal ring instead of slip knot. Has anyone some experience in these points?
