Yesterday I used the partial method. There was absolutely no pain. After a couple of seconds I had tingling feeling on my face and I started to black out. As soon as I was out , the fucking rope broke. I was so mad, started crying for an hour. If it wasn't for the rope I would have been dead 100%.
The thing that shocked me was how easy it was. After about 10 seconds, I was unconscious.
I'm going to buy a new rope ans try again.
I wish you guys find your peace soon.

It truly is quite shocking (in the best way possible) how painless it is when done right. Did the rope break off the support or the rope itself snapped?

Yeah other than a slight pressure on the neck, it's really painless. If pain is felt then something is being done wrong.

The rope snapped. I am starting to believe it was god or something because I tested the rope by climbing on it but nothing happened.
Bare in mind I used partial so less weight was on the rope. Really weird.

Woah, that's bizarre! I'm not a believer in higher powers but I definitely second guess myself at times.

wth am I doing wrong. I get to the seeing stars point & start choking. I keep seeing these peaceful videos and reading you alls testimonials. I'm fat but not that damn fat. I used 3 silk scarves ( after first using clothesline & 1 scarf then two. There is no way I'm missing my carotid artery. I was an USAF medic a hundred years ago. No one else experiences choking on increased pressure?

Have you tried placing the knot at the front of your neck, directly over the trachea? That's the only thing that works for me. I was military medic too back in the day! Army, not chairforce.

Well I think I've pulled it every which way but not kneeling with the knot in front! Then again as you pointed out our readiness training was more of a 4 week summer camp.To think we signed up for the very thing at least I having trouble achieving now..
hope you didn't experience combat & thank you wearing the uniform

I'm not sure if I have passed this tip to you or not, but watch videos/read on how to execute the rear naked choke in brazilian ju jitsu. You're basically wanting to replicate that. Also, try tying the other end of the noose higher and start your downward slide higher. For example, stand straight up with the noose as tight as you can and then start to bend down with your knees.

The first time, I made a poorly tied noose, and it slipped, dropping me to the floor. When I came to a few minutes later, I was left with a sore neck. the second time, because I lived in an older apartment, when the stool tipped over, it made a banging sound on the floor. The people who lived in the apartment went outside and looked up into my apartment. Even though the lights were off, they could see my body. They broke down my door. I woke up in the hospital a few days later, slightly groggy, with my neck in a brace, and angry at my neighbours for interfering.
About your full suspension hanging attempts, your input is helpful

What type of knot did you use?

What was the rope thickness and your weight?

Honestly it kinda sounds too utopic for me, how long does it really take?

The "falling asleep" process is insanely peaceful and painless if you find the right spot (carotid artery). I think the part to worry about is making sure the knot doesn't loosen and your support is sturdy enough to handle whatever thrashing your body does while unconscious. Buuut then you hear of people using a belt and wedging in a door and having success. I think what it comes down to is whether or not the individual actually wants to do it. If you do, you find a way or at least suffer through whatever hiccup happens. As far as how quick to fall unconscious, as soon as I tighten the noose, deep inhale, lean head forward and then start to bend down, I'd say from fully standing to a slight bend I can feel consciousness slipping. Then a little passed 90 degree bend, everything went black but since I didn't anchor the rope, I let it go from my hand and had to just lean against the wall until I regained motor skills and full consciousness

I tried partial suspension, I leaned forward and blacked out, however I woke up in panic because the rope must have loosened therefore resulting in the blood which was one stopped, flowing again. So yes you could especially survival instinct could kick in xx
Have you pissed yourself when you blacked out?

I tried to hang myself once and it was such a scary experience. Bassicaly I used the slip knot while "sitting in the air" position. Once I applied pressure I immediately stared to feel dizzy. My survival instinct kicked in and I barely was able to stand up and remove the knot. The feeling afterwards was very unplesant, my legs and hands were shaking and I but my bit tongue somehow. So partial hanging is in a way painless method if you surpass the SI but if you don't you will be in pain for days.

I'm still wondering what would the best method for me.
I could absolutely have the 30-40 minutes necessary, and I think I'd like full suspension because (I think!) once you kick the chair there's no turning back. But since I'm worried about the support holding my body for that long, I could go with partial. Still, I seem to understand that it's possible to stop before you lose consciousness, and I'm afraid I'd be too scared to try again...

I tried partial suspension last week as a test run. Used a scarf wrapped around a doorknob and then did a simple knot (I know I should have used a slip knot but I wanted to check the "logistics"). I also tried a slip knot with a scarf, but it just wouldn't tighten enough as the material was kind of thick and kept getting caught before it could tighten enough.

After 1/2 minutes, all I felt was difficulty breathing. But nothing was happening in terms of feeling faint. I then tightened the knot, and after about 5 seconds, felt dizziness and and flashing lights. I stopped after about 8 seconds because I didn't have a note written, and I had things to sort out that week. Whilst I couldn't breath, I felt no sense of panic even though I could feel the blood draining. It felt almost peaceful.

I'm still set on partial suspension hanging being my method to CTB, as I want to end myself as peacefully as possible. No blood or trauma to anyone else.
But I have a few questions about how to go about this.

I know I need to use the slipknot to achieve this, but how do people do this with a scarf? I know Kate Spade did this but I'm so stuck. Scarfs are so thick it just doesn't seem logical. Would twisting the scarf round and round to make it thinner get rid of this? Or should I just use a different ligature? I'm thinking about buying rope, but I don't want it to hurt my neck. If I'm going to die, I want to make my last moments as least painful as possible.

So I've decided my method is going to be the following -

Using a slipknot on my neck to tie the rope to the door (also a slipknot). Then using a scarf to pad my neck so I don't feel too much pain. What do you guys think? I'm also going to get drunk as possible.

Can you use a scarf for hanging?if so how?
Also, can you do this in your car? Maybe with the belt?

I'd say use a slipknot with the scarf. Does your car have an "oh shit" bar? I'm not sure if it'll be strong enough so of course test first but I'd say tie it there and start on the seat, then drop down to the floor.

According to PPeH 2019, the "Peacefullness" score is 0. Why is Philip Nitschke so harsh with hanging?

Yeah I want to try but I want to know if its painful
I heard that, as a female, you may piss all over yourself during hanging, maybe feces come out,too

For both males and females. But many factors..

Some people find it easy some people don't. I tried partial like a 100 times but could not even knock myself out. Some people on their first attempt were able to. Got to plan and experiment to see if this method is suitable for you.
