I failed a partial hanging attempt today, it just made my head throb and my vision go slightly blurry but nothing more. no matter how hard I pressed down or how long I waited. I thought I found the carotid artery, it was the only spot in my neck that made it go fuzzy. Which was below my jaw where carotid artery should be.

I also survived a fsh attempt you'd think it would make your neck snap but no, I literally DANGLED around in the air choking before hooking my feet onto my desk.

TF AM I DOING WRONG.

honestly i've never considered any hanging stuff at all because it seems complicated.. i have a feeling if i tried it i would end up like you where i can't figure out how the heck to do it right..

are there other methods you can switch to?.. my favorite method is H2S (hydrogen sulfide); you wouldn't be failing that one very easily..

Did you add any padding and slightly drop your weight? I personally could never hit the carotid arteries without doing both. It could also be that the rope is too thin or the force is going against the front of your neck (as opposed to distributing to the sides) so the positioning is off and just shutting the outer jugular and damaging the neck

I tried padding but it never seems to work.

I tried padding but it never seems to work.
Then it probably has to do with force and knot placement, the carotids are better exposed in the middle of the neck just above hyoid, when I add sufficient (and additional) padding to both neck and rope (to move the force from the front of the neck and spread it on the sides) while I drop my weight from my knees, I successfully hit them, get that cold lightheadedness, and if kept, it would be a successful attempt. I recommend you look into other methods if when even covering all recomendations it still fails. I'll try to post a short guide soon

Sorry, I know you're disappointed. When I read your last "goodbye post", I didn't think your attempt would work… because you didn't think it would work. IMO, hanging can be much harder than it seems & it's just not going to be a method that works for everyone. If I were you (which I'm not), I wouldn't attempt again until I had a method that I really had a good amount of confidence in. I wish you the best of luck in whatever comes next.

In your fsh attempt, if you couldn't put your feet over your desk, you probably wouldn't be here now. You would have choke to death but it probably wouldn't be long until you pass out.

Ppl who survive fsh, either have an anchor point or rope which broke during the process, or manage to put their feet on a surface. So if you kick a chair down and have nothing nearby, you are out. Ofc I don't recommend it

Possibly, you and me are immune to hanging.
I have faced similar experiences while testing psh and fsh.
Circle of willis could be one reason

Yes fsh is definite path to ctb, but peaceful or not is the question, so it's something that is not recommended unless someone loses consciousness within first 10-30 seconds
I always get strangulated, so it's not a peaceful method for me unless i can do something that could knock my consciousness off to kill SI
