How to ensure body is found in a timely manner?

Problem: I live alone in another city than my family, but I know that after a prolonged radio silence, they'd drive out here to check on me. I don't want them to be the ones to find the body bc I don't want to traumatize them. Any ideas on how to let someone (ideally the police) know to check my appartment while leaving myself the window of time necessary to cbt? I plan on using SN, so I need a couple of hours at least.

Send a scheduled email, there are plenty of free services for that, send one to the police for after you're gone

As others have said I would send a scheduled email or send normal mail right before you do it. Alternatively, you could set alarms on your phone for after you go, so they ring and draw attention so someone eventually checks on you.
