Sorry if this type of stuff isnt allowed here, this is really the only place i thought of where i could get some actual information with things like this.

That being said, how should i sanitize and take out the blade from a Gillette female razor? A very cheap option, i know. Im desperate.

This is not going to be used as a way for me to ctb, i just have a very very terrible urge to cut atm and have for the past week, i feel very deprived trying to stay clean and im about ready to relapse, guilty afterwards or not.

Oh, I'm sorry you feel this way, could you try to avoid cutting? Is there something that forces you to do that?

For your question, probably any sanitizer is acceptable (Hydrogen peroxide, ethanol, etc). You can just break plastic in your razor and take a blade, but be accurate to prevent blade defects and unexpected wounds. It also may take some time to do.

I try to distract myself at times, but i would say its almost like an addiction to cut as this point. I've tried many times to go clean and i've relapsed all times. Ive gone one, two, even three years of being clean from cutting, but i always end up in the same place where i started. So at this point ive honestly given up and im just feeding into the strange, addiction-like habit.

But thank you for the concern and information ^^

Also, what would you say would be the easiest way to break the plastic? I usually dont use blades.

Sorry for the late reply.

Was there something that made you start to cutting?

I used scissors, pliers, but I had even cheaper razor. You can use something similar that can split it.

Sorry it's late, did you manage?
I use a penknife or a pair of tweezers to get the blades out of disposable razors.
I've never tried a Gillette but where there's a will there's a way, just try and snap the plastic around the blades with something and then pull it off.
