Head in a bear trap method

I hate to break up the silliness, but those traps are meant to catch a foot, not a head. A trapper would be pretty bummed to find the neck of his bear skin punctured by a trap with teeth. Traps are meant to hold an animal so that they cannot escape and find food. They are usually baited with scent rather than food to encourage the animal to approach it.

Traps for water mammals are made to hold the animal under water until they drown, again by holding a foot.

Placing your head in one of these would make you dumber than a muskrat.

It is possible it would actually taste better after I ship it from the USA to UK. The aging may help!

I'm wondering if any has thought about this method at all.

No sounds gruesome there are better methods especially if there's a chance you could survive, a guillotine would be a great alternative, guaranteed a swift exit.

Realistically, it wouldn't. But in the context of this thread, you'd stick your head in and trigger it by pressing that center rectangle. It's like big metal jaws... CHOMP

Haha. There's been some weird and wonderful methods come up recently. What's up with a couple of spoonfuls of sn and then going to sleep? It's like people want to punish themselves in a gruesome way.

The way I pictured it, it would bite through your neck because you'd have to trigger it with your head. Who the hell knows? LOL This isn't something a person would probay ever try to do for real.

There have been cases where hunters have had an accident where their leg got caught in a trap, and they couldn't get it open again. I suppose you could get trapped that way and die. Just thinking that makes me cringe so much. I'm not a fan of the idea of this, but I'm sticking around for the pizza.

Yeah, they leave them lying open on the ground so the animal hopefully steps on it. It closes on their leg and they can't escape. It's awful and inhumane. Usually they kind of cover the traps with leaves or something, which is how a person might accidentally get caught in one.

Just an idea what if the OP dressed up like a bear an walked around the woods hoping to step on one? It would take SI out of the equation as the OP wouldn't know where they were planted?
