All the while,I was thinking,there's no way an ambulance could reach Ace in time,although I'd hoped to be wrong.
The forest was 100 metres away from their home,which may have been in a small town with an ambulance station...
Not disclosing Ace's country,but it seems a long shot.
I will miss Ace so,so much. We spent a lot of time chatting via PM and it feels so strange,sad and hollow that no more messages will come.
This is what Ace wanted above all else,though. I have to have enough love to accept that.

It appears that Ace left us quickly,that was the best anyone could hope for.

This. It is not our place, @ceelo, to tell anyone what to feel in the aftermath of a death. The people you touched are allowed to miss and mourn you. I am sorry to dear Saed and all of Ace's loved ones for missing someone who evidently meant a lot to them. A death isn't a nice thing, let's not forget that. As much as we may like to commend someone for 'having the courage to go through with it'.

This is the most ethereal thread on this entire site IMO. OP's mannerisms and kindness, the picturesque and beautiful forests and landscape, the dog compassionately following him to his final place of rest and the best wishes from the members in this thread.

Contrast that to the extreme suffering some of us endure in life, the ridiculous over-exercising of willpower to just stay alive, the inhumane process of natural and premature aging, the evils of the world, hunger, financial insecurities, addictions, treatment-resistant mental illnesses, etc.

How can some people be so against this site and the autonomy of pro-choice after reading this thread (or a thread like this)?

I absolutely love this song! This song speaks so many words. The first day i joined the SS forum, Ace's farewell message was the first post i saw and it really struck me to the core. I hope Ace found the peace and rest he deserves.
