I messaged him, he said "2000 uah for website access" which is $50. Keeping it hidden on here so it doesn't get taken down is one thing, but reselling the website (and possibly scamming) people looking is insane. So still no luck there lol

i would always see people on the forum saying "if you've found the site, you'll know you found the site" and they were right. once you find it, it's extremely obvious that it's the correct site.

It's not DSL, but the person on it just resells the product (or used to). Was legit, just complete extortion…

While I do understand your point of view, I don't agree with it. Its hard to know exactly what a person is going though. Imho just because they have a low post count doesn't mean very much. No need to attach labels and bully them.
Many people just lurk and only interact in very specific moments where they have no other choice. Searching for something (desperately) doesn't say anything about their trustworthiness. Such things are impossible to measure from such limited interactions.
Trying to derive & decipher the person behind a user handle is impossible. Anyone can put on any mask they want.

There seems to be a lot of fear that a source might become known to an unwanted entity. Lets be realistic, any such entity will be able to locate these sources.

Of course anyone can decide for themselves whether they are comfortable sharing information with anyone privately.
