The user Readytoendit has asked me to share that he's left us last night using sodium nitrite. We messaged through it.

He was able to message till about 14 minutes in. He had a slight headache and some nausea after 3 minutes (no anti-emetic). At 13-14 minutes he reported that he was not in any great deal of pain, and that he felt oddly peaceful about his decision.

800g Tagamet / Advil / 20g sodium nitrite.

He wanted to share his age - 22 - and his two favorite songs.

I may shortly be following in his footsteps (sodium nitrite).

I express my deepest condolences to the deceased.
Thanks to Readytoendit and windingdown for sharing information
Readytoendit did not eat antiemetics? As far as I know, advil is an Ibuprofen ingredient and is known as a pain reliever that causes gastrointestinal disorders. I've heard that Tylenol's acetaminophen ingredient does not have gastrointestinal problems.
I'm thinking of eating Tylenol.

How painful was it? Please forgive for asking but I'd like to know.

Case reports like ncbi are nearly useless in trying to determine the peacefulness of a method, never is there any mention of pain or distress, it's metHB level and meds given and whether the patient lived, case reports are largely for med. Personnel instruction on what to do to save a person's life.
