i dont think i know anyone whos more passively anxious than me. im constantly scared and paranoid for no reason and get so easily overwhelmed no matter what i do. i can't hold jobs obviously but i can barely even go to the store without having to find a corner to have a panic attack in

there's no solution for this shit besides drug abuse. breathing exercises and grounding mechanisms are all bullshit made up by people who don't get scared constantly for no reason

everything i see just reminds me of how the world's fucked and im just a number who can't be hired because having autistic meltdowns isn't profitable for anyone. id rather die than continue like this

Same here. Just endless anxiety for god knows what. I've taken anti-anxiety meds, meditated, exercised, did breathing exercises and even slept long hours but nothing helps. I agree with your statement - "everything i see just reminds me of how the world's fucked".

oh my god I've been going through the same thing. constant dread and feeling myself get really sick and not being able to stand up for no reason at all. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Tips for you from someone who has had to deal with similar issues

1. If you're drinking caffeine, stop doing it
2. Don't eat processed sugars.
3. Don't spend much time in front of screens all day, instead go outside and do some physical activity.
4. Get some blood tests done, you may have a deficiency or a physical problem if the anxiety/unease is there all the time for no reason. I had the same until I figured out I had dietary issues and I got the worst of it to calm itself down.

I been there during 3 years and If I could go back I would do these three things, cut out all sources of gluten from my diet, use cyproheptadine at the commonly prescribed dose, and if I had panic or adrenaline attacks I would use Propranolol too until they end.

i was having another meltdown earlier today but managed to calm myself down by reassuring myself with "it will be over soon. you will soon be dead and not have to worry ever again" and such. really sucks how effective it was but whatever

You are not alone! I feel the exact same way. I am autistic and have suffered from anxiety since I was little.

I have been through seven therapists, medication, diets, breathing exercises, and basically any treatment you can think of. Literally nothing takes my anxiety away besides being at home in my room.

Never ending anxiety is one of the main reasons I want to CTB.

Same here. The thought of having to work to survive gets worse as you age. It's not that I'm lazy, it's just that everythig is so worrisome and I don't see the point. This kind of anxiety, at the age of 44 when I don't have anymore youthful energy, has gotten suffocating. I have to pop and Adderall pill every day just to make it even remotely tolerable. I just want to end it all and sleep forever.
