People have said, when you jump from a height you should try to land on your head to give best success rate...
However i dont mean to sound dumb, but how are you actually meant to fall on your head?
Is it a case of just standing backwards and falling backwards and trying to tilt your body?
People are like cats, they tend to land on their feet.

I'm actually looking forward to jumping. I've looked at my local cliff top but I don't think it's high enough. Beachy Head sounds good, there's another place I wanna jump from, too.

Also, may I ask what the problem is with polce on beachy head? How may they know if you wanna suicide, unless you are making it extra obvious? Doesn't people get close to the edge constantly?

I don't think so, just some wire and warning signs, but volunteers patrol it on the lookout.

Any thoughts on this as a jumping place.I know it is a notorious sucicide place.does anybody know some who has died there?

Beachy Head is notorious for having lots of chaplains on patrol who stop most jumpers so it isn't the best place. I think it would be inconsiderate to force police / medical teams to retrieve you at the bottom of the cliff.

Thinking of driving down tomorrow, I've been before and the old SI kicked in at the cliffs edge. Just couldn't bring myself to make the jump, was wishing someone would push me ! I know I'm a dreamer !

I'm desperate to ctb as soon as possible. Hanging scares me so much, the thought of living through it.

Praying I get there tomorrow and just walk off the edge, no lingering and no thoughts or regrets.

Any suggestions on how I might succeed would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a picture a took there a while ago (actually wasn't suicidal just a tourist back then) It truly is a stunning place

The chaplaincy team will only get onto you if you linger around for ages

this is my perfect method and location ,I just really don't want to die alone.
if anyone reading this would like a partner for this.Method please get in touch.
I know the best place to jump from and I know this is the right method for me.
I'm thinking I'll end p going alone as Things are getting to the point where I can't hold off much longer.

I think just west of where Beachy Head Lighthouse is down below, to the right of it when looking out, from what I can tell looking it up and reading information, someone may be able to confirm.

Right there, midway between the red and white lighthouse in the sea and the old lighthouse on the clifftop which is now a hotel.

The only thing that sucks is it looks like it's not a solid floor (where you would land) looks like pebbles/sand/stones and the sea, I'd hate to survive and be disabled.

I think hesitation is the main problem with jumping.
You kind of stand there ,and over think it which gives people a window of opportunity to help you and try to convience you to live.
Once the police arive ur chance has gone.
