Hi

I am evaluating this method and would love your suggestions to make it more effective, quick or painless.

I will take a high dosage of Apixaban or any other oral anticoagulant / blood thinner.
Post that, will cut open a major blood ves witsel, ideally, Femoral Artery or Jugular Vein. These blood vessels are very close to skin, so accessible, and result in massive blood loss in short time span. Combined with anticoagulants, it will prevent any blood clotting and would increase blood loss rate.

Key issues :
- Obtaining Apixaban : It is a prescription only drug, here in India. So obtaining a large amount of dosage would be a challenge.
- Right amount of dosage of Apixaban : Lower dosage might render the method ineffective as natural blood clotting might hinder or prolong the procedure causing more pain.
- Severing blood vessel : Although these blood vessels are shallow enough, the lack of anatomical knowledge and the fact that this needs to be done by self would pose a severe challenge. A shallow or small cut might render the procedure ineffective
- Body's Survival Response : In this type of injuries, body's natural survival responses kick in immediately. To counter this, a fast-acting anaesthetic or sedative drug taken beforehand that renders me unconscious can be helpful. But again, accessibility and dosage are important parameters.

Risks :
- Waking up : If the anticoagulant dosage isn't sufficient, or cut isn't at right place and right intensity, I might wake up after.
- Permanent consequences : With severe blood loss being part of the procedure, any miscalculation night result in multiple organ failure and cause permanent damage and might even disable me from any future self-deletion attempts

Sounds hardcore, too hardcore for me. The best thing is to educate yourself. This might be useful 1743008547180

Do you have knowledge of how anticoagulation meds work? About doses, contraindications, etc.?

As far as I know, CTB via cutting yourself is extremely hard. Maybe with the proper meds and knowledge would be feasible, but... do you have it?

Would not recommend CTB via cutting. If you look at the stats, it has one of the highest fail rates. I think I saw something saying only about 10% are successful.

If you do this you would want to hit an artery. Arterial bleeding is much more serious than venous bleeding, but I still wouldn't recommend it. I think taking a blood thinner or even just aspirin can be a good way to ensure gunshot suicide is effective, but it's basically just insurance at that point. With cutting you're most likely to fail, and I don't think apixaban, warfarin, heparin, clopidogrel, or anything else like that would change it much. You would have to cut yourself very very badly, and the SI would almost certainly be too intense.
