I usually watch anime in subs but lately I've been watching more dubs cause I be multitasking.

Maybe I'll give Terminator a shot but lately I've been more into isekais and adventurer types of anime.

Ay I recently finished this series I started a few day ago
Anime- Grimgar, Ashes and illusions.
It's an isekai series tho you may have already seen it

Yea I have seen it twice already. Lol
Definitely one of my favorites. I wished they would've did more episodes.

This one is a really good one too.

Good shit I've watched log horizon too just haven't since the last seson came out, agh why couldn't grimgar get a three seson or just at least 25-50 episodes I wish but I also wish that with many series you might remember

Trigun

Pacifist outlaw in a steampunk Wild West. It's a bit of a slow burn but has a great payout and the characters are genuinely some of my favorites in any media. It seems more cheery than it actually is is all i'll say.

It recently had a remake release but I wouldn't suggest watching it until after this as it spoils things a bit too quick



Gungrave

I would suggest skipping episode 1, it kinda spoils things and it's just a flash forward to the middle of an episode later in the series.

I really love it (it's in my top 5 along with Trigun) but it's not for everyone. It's a mafia anime and

Idk if anyone has added it yet, but Bocchi the Rock! is absolutely spectacular and I highly recommend. Especially if you deal with social anxiety and/or are somewhat autistic.

I'm not much of an anime person tbh but I've watched a few that I like. Neon Genesis Evangelion is my favorite anime, but I'm sure others have already recommended. Plus, even though Bocchi the Rock! isn't as good, it's still pretty spectacular and is a much easier, lighthearted watch.

Anime- Blade of the Immortal

It's no worries I can't recall anyone mentioned bocchi but I've never been sure with that series as I see it all over memes an shi and I didn't wanna get my expectations up like I did with komi can't communicate, that shit was garbage and did no justice for people with real social anxiety but Evangelion is 10/10 right there with Code Geass

Yeah I haven't watched Komi but I think Bocchi does a good job at portraying social anxiety and has fun and relatable characters. Ofc it has an element of hyperbolic comedy in the show so it'll exaggerate Hitori's thoughts and emotions to a degree and also play up her reactions but it never gets too ridiculous to be relatable or "realistic" nor does it get too absurd to enjoy. At times I think it even compliments the show, especially with the interesting ways the animation artistically expresses all of this. Also Hitori's character growth and progression is surprisingly well paced and satisfying, especially given the length of the show.

Idk I think I still have Crunchyroll so I can watch Komi and compare maybe? I am very sorry I just get really passionate about the things I like and enjoy. I hope I'm not trying to hard to sell you on Bocchi.

(P.S. it's also just very cute, if you like cutesy stuff in your shows. Absolutely adorable.)

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu - A story with many themes that tie together beautifully. I'd recommend skipping the first episode until after S01E12, since it might give a wrong impression about the show.


3-gatsu no Lion - A story about a child that is somewhat of a prodigy at Shogi, despite initially only really being involved in the game as a means of survival.



I did see Ping Pong the Animation mentioned, and will second that it's a great show!

Okay this one next is a mix of cute and odd but i love this series so much.

Haruto Tsukishiro awakes to find himself trapped in a dreamworld. There he meets a mysterious girl who calls him 'brother' and finds himself attacked by self-proclaimed witches, the dreamworld incarnation of girls who have rejected reality. Now in order to escape he must help these various girls either move past their trauma or fulfill their desires.
An explicit semi-episodic drama that deals with issues both large and small, ranging from lack of self-esteem to someone witnessing their family's murder. It's highly experimental and no two episodes look the same.

Yo thanks for all of the recommendations. I really appreciate it. I haven't watched watamote idk where to find it even lol. I'm not much of an anime person tbh and I've barely watched any. Watamote, however, is one that I've wanted to watch for a while given the themes of stuff like social anxiety, depression and being a loser. Thank you for the recs and I'll check out those recommendations once I finish the anime I'm currently on.

If I were to list the popular anime, it would be Evangelion, Elfenlied, Chainsaw Man and Steins;Gate? (Death Note is the only anime I've ever watched, I tried Evangelion in 2023 and it was just too boring and toothless.)

Could you suggest anything resembling Death Note? There was a scene of cold-blooded calculated murder, and I loved it so much @_@ (but seriously, the tension between L and Light was legendary, man on man, 1v1, a duel of wills, akin to Arthas vs Illidan).
