Also Rent a Gf is unironically good background noise, bc you can just not pay attention and you wouldn't have missed anything bc the plot barely progresses!
A slightly difficult series to get into due to some "interesting" production decisions, this is a great series if you like dark fantasy stuff and cool action sequences. My personal favorite entries are the Heaven's Feel movies, but to understand what's happening you'll have to watch two other series first (Zero and Unlimited Blade Works), but they were worth the time to invest in. The second film in particular is bonkers. Entries vary in quality, but Zero was excellent and the Heaven's Feel movies were absolutely phenomenal.
A post apocalyptic story about kids with telekinetic powers that have all sorts of horrible crap happen to them. The novel is also excellent.
A story about dead people. A somewhat sad musical-comedy anime.
Japanese Final Destination. Very creative deaths. Beware of umbrellas.
Japanese X-Men. One guy has the power of money.
There are a few entries now, but the original series about this guy called lelouch is what you want to watch. A story about freedom fighters, Mechas, and some crazy eye powers. Also a girl bangs a table.
A story about a wide variety of people. Many of the characters communicate in an anonymous chatroom. There's an angry blonde guy who throws vending machines at people.
The show that upset so many fans with its end that the creator said "fuck it, you don't like the happy ending? Fine. Everybody dies horribly." He walked it back a couple decades later though.
A cute slice of life show about angels and demons living on earth to study abroad. The angels are worse than the demons.
The best anime to watch drunk. This show is essentially what normies think anime is like. Lots and lots of gif material.
One of the only decent romance anime that doesn't happen in high school. I guess so long as you're in college there's still hope.
Everyone's favorite teaching show! Eat your heart out, assassination classroom!
The movie series that put ufotable on the map. Gorgeous. Dark. Violent. Also Shiki is cute!
Another good anime to watch drunk. A neet, an idiot, a quick shot, and a masochist go on adventures and shit.
A cute and wholesome magical girl show. It's so happy. Just listen to that intro music.
If you thought Shinji was pathetic, you're going to love this guy. Also, if you make a promise to a girl, you had better follow through!
Konosuba except life sucks. You can't ctb. Sorry.
Drunk anime the third. A story about a psychic who is sick of everyone's bullshit.
A show that's a bit too relatable for all the wrong reasons. FUCK WHY DIDNT I HAVE THIS I WAS A WEIRD LONER TOO
I'm sorry, I have no idea what the heck is happening in this show. Still fun to watch while drunk. Also the cutest and most wholesome of the drunk anime series
It's okay! The events of Another were all in their heads!
…This is what actually happened, right?

Fuck yea Durarara was amazing I have been meaning to re watch it, and Garden of sinners, pristine
And I see Yuno gasai! Showed my older brother Future diary and now yuno is he's favorite female anime character
And aaaa so many good choices, bungo stray dogs and Code Geass for the win!! Aghh FOR NUNNALLY!
I've watched so much shit on crunchyroll so everyhing here I've seen it's nice to come across others with good taste obviously some wacky questionable stuff happens in most but DO WE AKNOWLEDGE THAT! nah well I try, since basically any anime you wanna watch is going to have some form of fan service, except Chuunibyou that shits 10/10 genuine wholesome lovable characters, I guess not all I've watch on crunchyroll like durarara I watch on Netflix when they had it on there, and for some resone i remember pirating golden time,
And don't even get me started on EVA,
Still tho I'll always go back to Eva and rewatch I got the DVD just about two years ago now and man random shit but I much prefer watching anime on DVD, those clean intros and outros and the behind the scenes and and the pamphlet I get in just about all my dvds, anyhow rn I'm re watching nana and also watching helck have you seen
"El Cazador de la Bruja"
The story centers on two female characters: Ellis and Nadi. In the premise, Ellis is a murder suspect and finds herself on the run from an underground society called "Hunters." At some point, she meets a bounty hunter Nadi who is initially after the bounty on her head but eventually decides to help her pursue the truth about her past. Although by doing so, Nadi calls the Hunters' wrath upon herself, as well, she accompanies Ellis to the Hometown, where she was supposedly born. I just went and quickly looked up the plot real quick since I don't got time now bit if you haven't mabye you might like it, it was an earlier series I watched

Random anime news The Rose of Versailles is in for the new anime film adaptation based on Riyoko Ikeda's classic historical shojo manga,
The anime film project was first revealed in September 2022 as part of the 50th anniversary project to celebrate the publication of the original "The Rose of Versailles" manga by Ikeda. The original manga series ran in Shueisha's shojo manga Margaret from 1972 to 1973, and inspired a TV anime series from 1979-1980, a live-action film directed by Jacques Demy in 1979, and a series of musical stage plays produced by Takarazuka Revue from 1974 to the current day.
Series- The Rose of Versailles :
The setting is in France, before and during the French Revolution. In the early part of the series, the main character is the young, flighty Queen of France, Marie Antoinette, however later the focus of the story shifts to a woman named Oscar François de Jarjayes. Oscar's father, General Jarjayes, despaired over never getting a son (he had six daughters), and decided to raise his youngest daughter as a man. He trained her well in the arts of fencing, horsemanship, and medieval combat.
Oscar is the commander of the Royal Guard and responsible for the safety of Marie Antoinette, as well as the rest of the royal family. The story revolves around Oscar's growing realization of how France is governed, and the plight of the poor.
Yess ! choices, only one I still needa watch is "legend of the Galactic Heroes"
I know it'll be my kinda series from what I have seen on it.
Anime- Kannazuki no Miko
Shy, timid Himeko happily attends school with both the popular and beautiful Chikane and her childhood friend, Souma, blissfully unaware of what's in store for her. However, the destiny of these three changes on Himeko's 16th birthday when the mark of the sun appears on her chest. What does this solar mark represent? At the same time, why has a black atura of agony burst forth from Souma? Who is the enemy? The legend of the eight-headed beast returns to Japan!
I know is not everyone's cup of tea, but I've been enjoying rewatching Dragon Ball. Original Dragon Ball I mean, the one with kid Goku going on adventures, not Z or Super which are the ones everyone knows and has seen nowadays. It's really wholesome, just pure unadulterated fun following a weird super strong kid from the mountains that for some reason has a monkey tail and a pure innocent heart despite the world around him.
Although, Og DB still comes with it's own set of viewer discretion of course. Sex and nudity, sexual harassment or a 16 yo mostly, alcohol, smoking, blood, light gore, violence. Good all fun for kids from 80's japan. Not much of an anime guy myself but still, one of my favorite animes of all time.

See for some reson this movie pissed me off because the movie seems quite obsessed with Fios body and with her as an object of sexual desire for men, other then that the artistic scenery I obviously enjoyed.

I agree, but I recommended it as something to put on as background noise. Idk about you, but with background noise, I kind of prefer stuff with a lack of plot so I don't feel bad for missing some parts

Fr man I get that completely I couldn't with that, I watched nana so much I like using that for background noise as they sound like actual people
Anime- Nana
Nana follows two young women who move to Tokyo in search of their dreams at key junctures in their lives. A frivolous airhead who attaches herself to men too readily and a fiercely independent punk rocker set on making it as a lead vocalist, on the surface, Nana K. (a.k.a. Hachi) and Nana O. share little more than a name and the same train journey. Nevertheless, they make an improbable connection.
Imagine Batman: The Animated Series mixed with Cowboy Bebop and Gundam, and that's basically The Big O, an anime I've been binge-watching lately, after having been interested in watching it for years. Highly overlooked series, and one of those rare few anime where you could argue that the dub is better. I really love the two leads -- a smug, suave negotiator named Roger Smith, and a badass android woman named R. Dorothy Wayneright. They both shine on their own and in interactions with each other. Roger Smith is voiced by Steve Blum, who you may recognize for the English voice of Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop, and he nails both performances to a T. It's got a charming atmosphere and a color palette that makes it feel almost like you're watching a comic book come to life. I'm not even done with it yet and I can't recommend it enough.

Watched this awhile back when it first came out, had to mention it as it was worth the watch.
Movie-
Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms
plot-
Though only 15, Maquia knows she will live for centuries without aging past adolescence. She belongs to the lorph, a clan of ageless beings just like her. Maquia's elders warn her not to fall in love with anyone outside their realm, unless she wishes to encounter true loneliness in the end. But fate pushes Maquia out into the mortal world one night, when an invading territory separates her from the clan. There she discovers an orphaned baby, Ariel, and takes him in as her own child. From this point, Maquia will suffer extreme heartbreak in the name of motherhood, as she watches Ariel grow and seeks to reconnect with her lost lorph friends, all torn apart by the cruel world of Mesate.

Kyoto has been populated by groups of tanuki and tengu for years, living alongside humans who are oblivious to the existence of these creatures. Yasaburou Shimogamo is the third son of an influential tanuki family who spends his carefree days taking care of an old tengu, observing humans through his ability to shapeshift, and dealing with the mysterious woman named Benten.
Behind the peace and tranquility, however, is a painful memory from long ago as Yasaburou's father, head of the tanuki community, was killed and eaten by a group of humans known as the Friday Fellows. Uchouten Kazoku follows the trials and tribulations of the Shimogamo brothers as they struggle to avoid their own grisly demise while coming ever closer to unraveling the truth behind their father's death.
Sato is a tangle of anxieties and conspiracy theories, believing that the nefarious N-H-K wants to turn society's misfits into a mob of hopeless recluses. Mysterious Misaki might be able to help Sato overcome his phobias-if she can pull him out of his existential foxhole and get him to face the world.
Ayy I got that one on my list it's still very new from what I remember but I'm looking forward to watching it rn I'm watching
Terminator Zero
A future war has raged for decades between the few human survivors and an endless army of machines. 1997: The AI known as Skynet gained self-awareness and began its war against humanity
Yea it's fairly new. The season has just ended. Not sure if you prefer subs or subs but they're still releasing the dubs. I started watching the dubs but couldn't wait so I finished the rest with subs.

Understandably you couldn't wait I'd be watching the subs first anyway, though I honestly do tend to wait for a whole season to finish usually so I don't have go torture myself with the impatient anticipation for the next episode.
But with the terminator anime you don't need to have had watched the human terminator movies as the story is its own from what I've been seeing so far in the series btw if you like gore the series actually has quite gore
