Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world today, once quite rare, it is now predicted that almost 1 in every 2 people will be diagnosed with it in some form during their lives. That's half the population.

Conventional treatments can be very harmful and their effectiveness leaves a lot to be desired.

There are cases of cancer being effectively treated and cured naturally, I will present a few noteworthy ones here. (There are many, but sometimes the details are sketchy, or they involve very drastic or potentially dangerous remedies, so I have only mentioned a few here because of their apparent simplicity and safety, and overall reliable testimony.)

Disclaimer: I am not suggesting that all cancer can be cured naturally, only that some people have managed to do it. It is my hope that in the near future, science and technology will be applied to effectively cure all cancer without harm, but we are certainly not there right now. If anyone here suffers from cancer or knows somebody who is, they deserve to know about these natural cures in case they may benefit.

Josie Nunez - Josie had terminal Medulloblastoma (brain cancer), for which she underwent surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. The cancer returned with a vengeance, metastasizing to other areas such as the spine. Conventional treatment failed, left her very sick, and she was sent home to die. Miraculously her parents were able to cure her with advice from Dr. Bernardo, using fresh juices and a pH stabilizing alkaline diet approach. She was featured on an episode of The Incurables. https://cancercompassalternateroute.com/testimonials/brain-cancer-healed-with-natural-therapies/

Ralph Cole - Squamous cell carcinoma, metastasized to the lymph nodes. After trying chemotherapy and radiation, he ended up treating and curing his cancer when it returned with carrot juice and diet changes including cutting out sugar. https://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/ralph-cole-cured-cancer-with-carrot-juice/

Anne Cameron - A childrens' book author, diagnosed with stage IV metastatic colon cancer and lung cancer. Amazingly, she cured herself with carrot juice alone. No chemo, radiation, diet changes, or anything except carrot juice. She wrote a book about her experience in 2015 called "Curing cancer with carrots" https://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/ann-cameron-cured-her-cancer-with-carrot-juice/

Dieneke Ferguson - beat multiple myeloma with curcumin from turmeric https://casereports.bmj.com/content/2017/bcr-2016-218148.full https://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/how-dieneke-ferguson-beat-multiple-myeloma-with-curcumin/

Danny McDonald - cured his stage IV metastatic stomach cancer with wheatgrass juice https://cancercompassalternateroute...-cancer-stage-4-healed-with-wheatgrass-juice/

A 48 year old man cures his chronic lymphocytic leukemia with an extract of green tea, EGCG (Epigallocatechin-3-gallate) https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26858922/

A 59 year old man with metastatic melanoma declined traditional therapy (the patient was offered systemic therapy with both immunotherapy and targeted therapy) and used over the counter supplement IP6+inositol instead. To his doctor's surprise, he achieved a complete remission and remains cancer-free 3 years later, after using IP6+inositol alone https://journals.lww.com/melanomare...l_hexaphosphate_plus_inositol_induced.15.aspx

A 47 year old woman cures her pulmonary spindle cell carcinoma, deemed unresectable after failing conventional treatments, with germanium from health food store -
"...Despite two additional cycles of mesna, adriamycin, ifosfamide, and dacarbazine, her symptoms worsened and she had radiographic evidence of tumor progression. The patient opted to discontinue all therapy. While on a cruise 6 weeks later, the patient met a man who claimed that daily self-medication with germanium had cured him of oat cell carcinoma of the lung that was diagnosed 15 years earlier. The patient started daily self-medication with the same regimen (bis-betacarboxyethygermanium sesquioxide, 7.2 g qd, followed by a taper of the drug). Within a few days of beginning therapy, she felt her lungs "opening up" and required less supplemental oxygen. A chest radiograph 3 months later revealed 60% clearing of the left lung, and thoracic CT scans at 5 and 7 months showed near complete disappearance of the thoracic mass (Fig 1, bottom, B). At the time of this report, 4 years after initial diagnosis, the patient continues to show no evidence of recurrent disease and has also continued to take low-dose germanium sesquioxide. The patient denies any significant side effects from her treatment." https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10669709/

74 year old woman cures stage IV metastatic melanoma with only the herb Thyme. https://www.jaad.org/article/S0190-9622(04)03675-8/fulltext

Finally, there is the story of my grandfather. He had Hodgkins lymphoma and underwent chemo and radiation therapy, which made him extremely ill and did not cure his disease. Even though he eventually died from various health complications, he was able to effectively treat his cancer using the Soursop fruit and leaves from the Soursop fruit tree (Annona Muricata) after the doctors treatments failed.

There are so many more stories, but these are good ones to start with as they show that even people who have failed their treatments, with very advanced and deadly cancers, have made a recovery using the most simple of natural treatments. I hope that this helps you, or someone you love who may be facing cancer.

I wish you all the very best forever and always,

GentleSoul

Thank you for sharing that!

I'd love to see this stickied as it's potential useful info that will get buried. Whilst there are obviously no guarantees of efficacy in reproducing the methods it would be beneficial for future members comimg here due to their respective cancers to be able find it and make use of the info at the earliest time possible. I'm nit surw where best to put it though as recovery (whilst instinctively obvious) may be the Last place a cancer sufferer will browse after joining the forum. Maybe now would be good time go add a couple of subsections for resources for people suffering health issues? It wouldn't hurt the public image of the place either. Even just adding extra, more specific subsections to recovery could be useful. Not everyone coming here is doing so due to mental health issues. Myself included. : )

Thank you for your glowing recommendation, I'm glad you think this post is useful. I'm not sure if it would qualify for a spot in the stickies, this sort of thing tends to spark a fair bit of controversy, also it can even end up making people a target for attack and ridicule by those who sympathize with the mainstream cancer industry, and those who generally pooh-pooh all natural remedies and the like.

Especially when it comes to cancer, anyone promoting or even suggesting natural treatments that are outside of the conventional scope of chemo, radiation, and surgery, can be subject to quite serious torch-and-pitchfork responses. I think the site should be cautious not to align itself with, or openly support, controversial alternative medical treatments.

As far as cancer sufferers go, they often either disagree with natural treatments or deny the credibility of them, only willing to trust and try what the doctors recommend- or they are open to trying natural treatments, either straight away or once the conventional treatment fails.

If they are open to it, they will likely go looking for this type of information and find a lot of the same info. For instance, one of the sites which I linked to is Chris Wark's 'Chris beat cancer' site, and it's one of the first things that pops up in a google search for 'natural cancer cures'. So I guess this post is aimed more at people here who might have loved ones or know somebody with cancer. Or if someone with cancer who isn't aware of proven effective natural treatments sees this, and because of reading this decides to give it a go, that would also be wonderful.

Here is some more info...

Colloidal Silver - a 78yr old man cured head and neck squamous cell carcinoma metastasized to lungs and liver with homemade silver nanoparticles. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/hed.25492

Essiac Tea - many people have used Essiac to cure or treat cancers. Original Essiac has just 4 herbs: Burdock root, Sheep Sorrel, Slippery Elm bark, Turkish Rhubarb root. The new formula has 8 including Red Clover, Blessed Thistle, Atlantic Kelp, Watercress.

Cannabis - Most notably CBD oil, but also cannabis leaf juice, and something they call "Rick Simpson oil", which as far as I can tell is just a crude cannabis extract made from lots of bud.

Medicinal mushrooms - such as turkey tail, reishi, ganoderma, lions mane, etc. And Astragalus.

Fenbendazole - A dog worming medication. Joe Tippens used it along with CBD oil, Curcumin, and vitamin supplements K, D, and E to cure his cancer.

High-dose vitamin C - Intravenous vit C has been used as part of natural cancer treatments, sometimes proving effective on its own and this NZ police officer, was able to achieve remission with IV vit C, at least for a while Sometimes vit C can be made into another form where you can safely take larger mounts of it orally, this is called Liposomal vitamin C, and can be made at home if you know how.

Artemisinin - An extract of sweet Wormwood. It is used in some natural treatments for cancer, but I don't know much about it. Wormwood is part of many traditional chinese medicine concoctions for cancer.

Vitamin B17 - also called amygdalin, sold under the brand name Laetrile. It is found in the seeds/kernels of bitter apricots. It is also found in the seeds of many fruits such as apples and pears, but in much lower amounts. World arm wrestling champion Jason Vale cured his terminal cancer with apricot kernels and was thrown in jail for 5 years for selling them. https://www.b17.com.au/jason-vale-s...helping-1000s-of-people-beat-cancer-with-b17/

Sodium Bicarbonate / Baking Soda - many people have used bicarb soda as a part of their treatment as it helps produce an alkaline pH. But you will be surprised to know some have claimed success with it on its own. The first story about Josie Nunez mentions the use of some bicarb soda along with proper diet to help fix the body's acidic pH.

Garlic - some people claim garlic can help fight cancer, and one man claims he cured early stage colon cancer with only garlic, I can't find the video anymore.

Flaxseed oil and cottage cheese - this mixture of oil and cheese is the crux of Dr. Budwig's famous cancer cure protocol. I'm skeptical tbh because I'm under the impression that polyunsaturated fat oils like flaxseed and canol oil actually cause cancer, but this diet is famous and many people have testified that this has cured cancer

Gerson therapy - One of the most well known natural cancer approaches, Dr. Max Gerson's cancer treatment is full-on, and includes mad juicing with lots of supplements and regular coffee enemas. I would almost rather die of cancer tbh but many people have had success with Gerson's methods.

Fair point. For what it's worth I don't necessarily buy into a lot of the natural remedies and I think it takes some discerning to pick out the more viable of them. There are often many moving parts which make them just as likely to be coincidence as anything else. I see this and often assume a lot of claims to be poorly judged or selective in their understanding. I have a tedency to assume a level of common sense in people which in all honesty is quite often misplaced. An over estimate so to speak. There's some apparent promise in cannabis' potential as a cancer tratment but it's proved hit and miss for many too so the science isn't there to explain why it seemingly works for some and not for others. The truth is that there may never be an explanation as to why it works for some and not others but what I think is important to remember is that this is entirely true for 'conventional' treatment too. It's easy to forget the controversial nature when you're open to it I'm guilty of this. My thought in suggesting a sticky was that a person finding their way here is likely to have tried conventional treatment, chosen to forego it or been told it's not suitable for them by a specialist. As such (given this forums title) they're here looking for their final move rather than further cancer treatment options and seeing a compilation of this nature may provide one last option that they would otherwise not have found. One that doesn't involve the thing that makes this forum so controversial. This is why I initially thought it would possibly benefit the forums public image to a small degree. A bit of extra positive info in the gloom that hangs over us. Sure, as you mentioned, they may well have already done research and that is a very valid point, however I do think there are many that just follow a doctors advice with blind faith or don't really have the capacity or inclination to do research. There are all sorts of reasons that people don't do it that are easy to overlook when you have you health and/or find it particularly easy to navigate the internet/info and have a naturally discerning eye. That said, you are probably right that the forum is wiser not to align itself with alternative therapies as that could easily be turned against it. I hadn't really looked at it like that. As it's posted by a member here I considered it open to interpretation and obviously requiring some discernment by the viewer but stickying it would be endorsing it by proxy, which I did overlook. It's a bit of a sad state of affairs to have to look at things this way but reality is reality and it's what we've been served. I personally still feel it is in public interest to provide the info but I guess it essentially is and will be here. If less easy to stumble across whilst staggering ones way to cross the finishing line.

If cancer is caught and treated in the early stages and combined with an ongoing plant based diet, the immune system seems to be able to fight it off in a good many cases. Of course there are many variables involved but I've seen some really good documentaries on this.

Oh for sure. I'm a believer in food as medicine and a healthy diet being one of the most important defenses. I'm sure many cancers are linked to poor diets and unhealthy lifestyles.

It's proven that a diet which is primarily plant-based or low in meat such as the japanese macrobiotic diet, helps with longevity and fighting disease. This doesn't mean a processed pea 'n soy protein frozen meal for lazy vegans, but a diet full of fresh whole foods with lots of grains, fruits and veg. There's many testimonies of cancer cures using these diets, I didn't include them but I guess they are more a lifestyle.

When cancer is caused by things like toxic materials, (such as the chemicals that leached into the water from the sugar cane farms where my dads side of the family is from, or asbestos from all the old houses, the two main reasons why they have such a bad history of cancer) a healthy diet may not be enough but it definitely won't hurt!

Thats all g ^^ I love me a good 'conspiracy theory' from time to time! There's truth in some of them.

At the very least it's obvious that natural treatments are never given the green light by the medical industry, and many viable treatments, even some with real proven success, have been totally shunned.

If I ever get this disease I won't ever get chemotherapy or take any meds for it unless morphine, thats all. No one is gonna make me a Guinea pig to die faster.

I've been drinking carrot juice nonstop since this thread. It's a newfound love.

I'm 50/50 junk food vegan and whole foods. We're moving to 90/10 whole foods (with small exceptions like tofu, Ezekiel bread) this week and I'm looking forward to it.

I'm super chuffed that I turned you on to carrot juice! I couldn't believe how delicious it was when I first tried it. I thought it would be a chore to drink, but it's amazing especially ice cold, and I can drink 1L+ at a time no problem.

My skin did start turning slightly orange after drinking 2L per day for a couple of months straight, but a 3-5 day break fixed it. And unless your pregnant it's not dangerous at all, it actually looks healthy before it progresses towards advanced oompa loompa stage orangeness.

@GentleJerk and @Foresight do you juice the carrots yourselves or purchase the juice from shops? I imagine either way would be costly, drinking any large quantity daily

I have a juicer but it really doesn't make a lot of juice out of a large batch of fruits/vegetables. I just buy it from the shop. I drink a couple glasses a day, I'm curious to know how @GentleJerk gets that amount too.

@myopybyproxy @Foresight A 5kg bag of juicing carrots costs around 3-4 AUD here, and yields just over 2L of juice even with a stingy juicer. You can probably find a market supplier who will let you buy cheap fruit n veg in bulk if you're juicing a lot. If you're doing it for the treatment of cancer, talk to the owners and mention that, could go a long way in helping you find a good deal. At full price, it would cost me around ~$20 / ~$28 per week here for 2L per day. But I don't drink that much atm so I'm spending significantly less than that.

I don't really spend money on anything else other than food for myself and my family + pets, so it's easy for me to afford, and I don't get paid much.
If you're going to juice 2L a day I would suggest making a compost in the back yard, or find a community compost for all the pulp you will get.

Black seed oil.

Black seed oil benefits 617970831 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3252704/ https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0753332218327549
Black seeds are known in Arabic as "seeds of blessing". It is mentioned in the Quran as "a remedy for all disease except death". The prophet of Islam pbuh recommends to "hold on to the use of the black seed" which means to always use it, daily, and never stop. It has many health benefits from helping digestion, hair and skin, brain function, anti-epilepsy effects, digestion, and many more. In Islam, seeds from the Nigella Sativa bush are regarded as a source of some of the best healing medicine available.

The crude oil (virgin) extract of Nigella Sativa contains many potent anticancer compounds such as thymoquinone, and there are many testimonies by people who have effectively beaten their various cancers by incorporating Black Seed oil into their treatments, or even using it alone. Here's two right off the bat from a quick google search.
