• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What causes a person to become sedated to the point of unconsciousness from ibuprofen.
Systemic atypical allergy -> vasodilation -> hypotension -> drowsiness -> sedation.
That's the only theory I can come up with.
Differential: irritation of pre-existing ulcer -> gastrointestinal bleeding -> anaemia -> drowsiness -> sedation.. but there'd be other symptoms of that so I've discounted it.

We have no way of knowing the OP's intentions or state of mind.

My question is: where are the "Have you considered this and that?" preachers who disagree with ctb for young people, and were accusing me of being pro-ctb?? You should be coming first to the rescue.

Who said they went unconscious? If you assume hypotension and effects on the cardiovascular system, then it's not drowsiness, it's full-blown loss of consciousness from the allergy due to hypotension, and would result in hospitalization probably immediately after taking even 1 pill. You don't need to take 7 if the allergen is so strong

Btw @Infinite Conscious, I took your post very literally about no medicines. When you followed up, you asked about a single medication, but I just wanted to note that there is also the pill combo method in PPH. My literal interpretation is why I took exception to your comment. There are medications that can cause ctb, alone or in combination, but not at all relaibly if they're OTC, modern sleeping pills or modern psych meds. One could conceivably get hold of barbiturates, but it's still iffy unless it's N.
