This is probably going to sound odd, but I was wondering if anyone yawns when they're about to cry?
In the past year, I've noticed that when I get super depressed and am about to start crying, I immediately yawn, and it's like my mood gets reset. It feels like the emotional version of being about to sneeze, but then it goes away.
It'd be funny, if it wasn't so frustrating. I feel like I'm not able to get that cathartic release of emotion when it builds up inside of me. I can still cry if I'm watching something emotional, just not when it's about myself.
And if this happens/has happened to you, were you able to snap out of it? How?
