Hey so I'll try and make this short, but if you have had panic attacks/ struggle with them or anxiety in general, I need some help
I hate to be a person who self diagnoses unless there's no other option, so I don't want to just immediately come to the conclusion that I have anxiety/ struggle with panic attacks, which is why I'm writing this to understand it
So basically, I'll start from the beginning - I used to self isolate extremely, to the point that even going outside or just to school, would make me feel sick and extremely uncomfortable
My mental health was at the lowest it has ever been, and I fell into this deep black hole of depression
This would go on for maybe 1-2 years, before I somehow got better and somewhat extroverted/ good at socializing, but deep down even if I can hold a conversation with someone or be social, I still struggle with it but tend to hide it much better
Back then, due to this immense stress and pressure, I had these moments in which I started crying profusely and having this extreme shortness of breath, which I would have in "normal" but also really stressful situations too
Now, as mentioned, I've gotten better and definitely don't experience the same harsh symptoms as back then, but still, whenever something important is coming up or something new, or even something that's somewhat "basic", I get extremely anxious and without any pre-warning I get extremely sick
It always starts the same for me, which helps me recognize that I'm about to be sick and that I have to try and calm down as soon as possible
It starts with my body temperature rising, my heart pounding, sweating/shaking, and then I get actually sick and start throwing up/ having strong stomach pain/ nausea
Sometimes this goes away the same day it happens, but other times it's so strong, that the sickness lasts a couple of days
And now, when I think about how I used to get sick back then, I can't help but wonder if these are panic attacks or not? As said, I don't just want to self diagnose in any way, but I feel like the symptoms do add up, I just don't know what to do about this, since it always happens pretty much out of the blue, and I can't get treated in any way professionally, since that's just not a current option
Can anyone that actively struggles with panick attack/ has had experience help me out on this?

Panic and anxiety attacks are situational based, if you think about something or are in a situation and you get these symptoms. Then they sound a lot like panic attacks. If they really come out of the blue when you are are just at home without thinking then their could be physically something wrong with you

It sounds like panic disorder. Why don't you consult a psychiatrist? Also, please be aware that psychiatric medications can have side effects.

Thank you, it's just not possible right now with my circumstances, but maybe sometime in the future I'll consider it

I think that based on what you said, panic attacks would make more sense, as they don't come out of the blue but instead if I'm anxious/ nervous etc.
