Depends on the group, if it's fellow depressed and scarred people willing to go peacefully I'd do it. If it's cult shit like Heaven's Gate I'd totally not.
There was a book I read about the first situation "Little suicides with friends", it was from a Finnish author, can't remember the name

Absolutely the case! People have morals on how they want to go out and everything - but for some people, they will just go with what opportunity arises. This would be one such opportunity.

I live a life of solitude and I shall die in it as well it seems. Honestly, these cult like get togethers and suicide packs kind of disturb me. When I die, I want it peaceful and not full of a thousand emotions, drama and thoughts. When there is more than one person, things can get chaotic and far too random.

I would definitely do it with a partner and would consider doing it in a group. With more people comes more risk though. One person can easily back out and report everyone.

I agree- that's why partner suicides sometimes work but I wouldn't include more people than that. Personally, like most, I'll go it alone.

This is my first post, but I've been reading for a couple weeks the forum. So just as the tittle of the thread it's said. Have you ever thought of ctb simultaneously with someone else or in a group. Personally I wouldn't mind if a group of people would like to ctb the same day as me and maybe think of doing something together before it happens?
What do you think about it?

I would love this!! I don't want to be alone! I don't think there could be a better way to go out than as a group experiencing the journey - the hardest decision we've ever had to make, together. We'd all be supportive, understanding of each other's fears considering we're all in the same boat, and could lend each other strength and comfort during the most difficult time. I like the idea of sharing and celebrating the final moments of our lives together too. It would give my ending more meaning, depth, and specialness.

Great fantasy but I feel it would go terribly IRL haha. I only wish there were that many people that somehow could be thoroughly vetted and trusted
