I am currently an undergrad student with a promising future since I am doing not bad for my results and is doing some help on researches with a professor to gain some research experience. But all of these for what honestly? I ain't sure what I should do at this point other than continuing my life like this or just ctb, sometimes I do get something like a depressive episodes (not yet diagnosed but a lot of symptoms such as feeling emptiness, tired for no reasons, can't focus etc). And I am the only one in my family to study up to a university level. Would it be a waste of potential if I just choose to end it all here?

The reality is that nobody is obligated to delay their inevitable fate, deciding when to leave is a completely personal decision that can only be made by the individual.

If right now you're not sure if you should continue to live or to ctb then I would say keep taking it one day at a time until you know for sure what you want to do. You could even see if you could get some help for your depressive episodes and see if it changes anything. But everything is your choice and there is no rush. At the end of the day though if you decide its time then it. wasn't a waste of potential, you still shared your knowledge with the research papers and accomplished an amazing goal of being the first in your family to go to university. Just take your time, this isn't a decision that can usually be taken back.

I agree with the others here. The decision on whether to stay or to CTB is solely up to the individual. Also, if you are unsure of your decision, then it is better to wait and ponder more before you make a decision, as CTB is an irreversible decision.

Are you studying for your sake or your family's sake? If you are studying for the sake of someone else, what is it that would make you personally happy? Or rather, what else would you be doing? Is what you're doing now something that would help achieve those ends? As FuneralCry said, we cannot tell you what to do with your own life. It is a hard question, but it is one that has to be answered by the self, or else it is just another empty end. I agree with just_so_done as well. The end of a life is a big decision, and if you have hesitation, then take your time to see how things go. You seem to have already accomplished a great deal, and it seems like you could accomplish a great deal more, but that is your prerogative and decision.
