Venting Would actually rather die than go to work

My brain is so stupid. Love my job, my coworkers, all that. But I literally don't want to do anything but rot in my apartment. I could have a short day or a long day and I'm tired either way. Not always physically, but mentally and emotionally. Even when I'm "fine" I'm on edge and worrying. I feel like I'm responsible for everything. I have to go in a few hours and I just can't stop wishing I could die instead.

I've been on anxiety meds and anti-depressants for over a decade.

i feel very much the same every time i have a job, whether or not i like it. i hope it goes okay today

Quite true. In my case, I enjoy working from home. Once they reduce that it's going to be a problem though if I actually have to go to work.
