No, I'm not. Because chances are, if reincarnation were such a thing, that it was already happening to people as we speak, and people rarely mention being able to remember any such past life, which leads me to believe that no memories are passed on. So even if I was reborn (and that's a big IF), I would have a completely different conscious experience, and set of memories. I wouldn't be the me I am today, so that me of tomorrow is someone else's problem.

It's not the suffering or the life circumstances themselves that matter, but rather the lessons or the knowledge we're meant to gain from our life experiences. The ultimate goal of an incarnation isn't to suffer or to be born into painful circumstances, but rather, to learn something in particular from overcoming and living through those experiences. Exiting via suicide doesn't mean that you'll be reborn into worse or even similar circumstances because the circumstances themselves are of lesser importance than the intended lessons/knowledge we're meant to gain through them.

For example, if you're meant to learn compassion and empathy, your soul may opt to incarnate into a life of extreme suffering in order to help you develop deep levels of compassion for other people's struggles through first-hand experience with adversity and sorrow. I believe such was the case for me in this lifetime.

Or, conversely, your soul may opt to incarnate into a privileged life in which you're able to freely dedicate your resources and time to helping less fortunate people through charity work, volunteering, being a foster parent, donating money to charities and organizations, etc. Do you see what I mean? Both life circumstances allow for the soul to learn the same lesson, just in radically different fashions.

Exiting the incarnation via suicide doesn't doom you to reincarnate under worse, or even similar circumstances, necessarily. On the flip side, your soul/higher self may decide to reincarnate into entirely different circumstances to learn the uncompleted lessons, seeing as the past incarnation (where you committed suicide) didn't work out as planned. Or, maybe it did, and suicide was the intended result. I'm sure that's the case for a subset of people, for a variety of different reasons.

In any case, there's simply no way to foretell the exact details of your next incarnation at this stage, as it's yet to be determined. Who knows what your next lifetime could be like? It may be dramatically different than your current one, for better or for worse. There's no way to know with certainty until you've passed over to the other side, and even then it's not the current "You" who determines the next lifetime, but your higher self/soul.

I don't believe in the "reincarnation trap". I believe our higher self chooses to reincarnate. That doesn't diminish the unbearable agony our human selves often endure in this world, though- hence why suicide always exists as a potential exit point.

Also, souls can be overly ambitious in planning their incarnations and may plan out a life with circumstances that exceed the human personality's abilities to cope with them, thus leading to an early exit via ctb. There's no shame or punishment in taking that route- it happens.

Think abt it .. Even if there is reincarnation there is 50% chance u will end up worse and 50% chance u might end up in a better situation in ur next life .. So its a risk worth taking if this life is a pain .. At least that's how I am convincing myself

I'm agnostic although I lean very atheistic. I've seen many posts worried about reincarnation. I highly doubt reincarnation is real as it makes very little logical sense but more "no way for eternal unconsciousness" sense. Your mind just can't comprehend a void after death. If I'm completely wrong and reincarnation is real, there is no reason to be scared because you won't even realize you're reincarnated. The only way I would really fear reincarnation is if you realize you have been reincarnated.

it becomes very real if the universe is infinite. in the infinite universe everything including YOU repeats itself after certain amount of time.
Consciousness is something produced by the brains of living beings. Once we die, that consciousness is eliminated and there's nothing left. There is no more experience; no emptiness, no darkness, no void. There is simply nothing. That's my belief, at least.

People nowdays can be brought back after 6 hours after clinical death with their consciousness fully operational. how can you explain that?

(btw make sure that you are not found in 6 hrs after ctb)

What if there is nothing after death, but other living people time travel and cause you to unknowingly experience more life, possibly very differently. What if time travel can only be proven possible during times when physics "breaks", which itself would only be known to happen once it already happened? It's like eternal return's unsatisfiable twin. Diabolical.

I'm Christian so I believe that I'll go to heaven. Even though I accept Jesus as my savoir, I still occasionally worry about being sent to hell because I don't have enough faith in God, but I believe that if I do, then I deserve it. I'm willing to accept whatever comes after death.

I'm Muslim. Suicide is a major sin in my religion so all can hope for is that God will be merciful to me. If not, it is what it is. I will have to face whatever is decreed for me.

Whatever your belief, this is a barrier that you must overcome if you choose to ctb.

Does anyone worry that if they CTB they'll end up being reborn in another terrible life even worse than now?

One thing that kills me is compared to a large part of the world I'm fairly privileged. I don't consider myself good looking but overall I'm meh. I'm not super smart or anything but I have a degree and a descent job. My parents weren't the best growing up but they weren't abusive and they really did their best. I didn't grow up super wealthy, maybe lower middle class. All aspects of my life have just been very average.

I've always suffered with depression and not fitting in but that was whatever. Chronic illness is what's making me want to CBT and I just cant shake this feeling that I'll end up in horrible circumstances as punishment, like wven more severely disabled living in a 3rd world country with abusive parents. Actually I have a huge list of Possible scenarios

I guess my point is that if it wasn't for my chronic illnesses, I'd probably have an "ok" life but with the way things currently are I can't go on. I'm in my twenties and basically housebound/tortured with pain daily and I'm going crazy

I essentially caused my illnesses so I feel incredibly guilty that I have this relatively good life and basically messed it all up
Worry more about not being reborn. Think of this as being it. Atleast from a reincarnation standpoint you'll have no recollection of past lives.

Here's a thought: The only way out of the cycle of reincarnation is to ctb.

How else could one more emphatically and unambiguously "communicate" they were done/finished
with this pointless, chaotic "amusement-park ride" called life(s)/existence(s)?

It really could work like that. What I'm saying is no more outlandish than the orthodox reincarnation "theories".

Personally, I think reincarnation, like heaven & hell, is just a human invention... We're trying to project an ideal of "universal justice" onto a system that has nothing of the sort.

My first subpoenaed witness: Donald John Trump... Oh, my mistake! He's impervious to subpoenas. Hence: case proven... "universal justice" does not exist!!

I think we would all definitely be born into worse circumstances. I bet the majority of us here are in the top 6% of human disposition as it is.

I mean really we will probably come back as an....ant? Salmon? Locust? Termite? Some trillion fold animal that is everywhere. If we come back as a human, well, most people are not typing on here in english from their smart phone or laptop in their home with internet and amenities etc u get the point.

Most of us probably have it pretty good compared to almost every other circumstance of life on the planet

I truly believe in reincarnation. I believe this is like me 8(?) life that I know of. What happened in a previous life never effected the next one or I would actually be in a worse spot right now. It's random and a fresh start.

My Mom died and I had these feelings once after she was gone where she was there and she kept apologizing in such a way that it made me wonder. In no way do I think it is her fault or blame her. She told me while she was alive that I was the reason she was even alive, and how come things were the way they were for us at the time. Enough of a reason for me...

I miss her more than anything.

I'm just wondering.

If reincarnation does happen, can it still explain how mediums get in touch with people from the other side?

How does the reincarnation model fit in with a growing world population? We used to have 6 billion people on the planet.. And now we have 7. Are there new souls being created? Or is there a fixed number of souls in the world (animals included.. We just shift around the proportion of human and animal souls)

I'm making some huge assumptions here, i know.

I come from a place where its big on reincarnation and stuff but i do believe mostly in nothingness after we pass on

When a person dies, they aren't immediately reincarnated. They usually spend about 30-60 years in the spirit realm before they incarnate into their next lifetime- in the spirit world they heal, review their past lifetime, and then plot out their new one. Some very advanced souls only reincarnate every 200-300 years and only incarnate as teachers and spiritual leaders. So, when mediums connect with people who have died, they're connecting with the soul in the spirit realm before it reincarnates into another physical body. There's usually a large period of time to do so before the person incarnates again.

In very rare cases, a soul may immediately reincarnate after dying if the death was unplanned and sudden, such as dying in a war. These people will immediately "jump" into a fetus and be reborn into a new lifetime within 12 months of their death in the past life so that they can fulfill their life plan. These are the children who can remember their past lives and have vivid memories of past incarnations- I'm sure we've all heard of such children.

As for new souls being created, yes, that does happen. Souls tend to be created together in a group, and this group typically incarnates together as various different roles (lovers/spouses, parents, children, siblings, best friends, even coworkers, in some cases).

But, from what I hear, brand new souls don't incarnate into the "modern world"- they often incarnate into less advanced tribal societies where they can learn the very basics of being human and being part of a family.
These "baby souls" are typically born into regions without Internet access and are usually illiterate as well, from what I've read. This is to shield them from being exposed to too much complex information and contradicting perspectives that would hinder them in learning the very basics of functioning as a human in daily life.

Only strong souls incarnate into modern societies because the amount of contradicting information and the sheer amount of difficult moral choices we have to make on a regular basis throughout our lives would be too overwhelming and confusing for a brand new soul.

Most souls eventually want to stop reincarnating on earth, so after a certain amount of lives and after learning and experiencing all that they set out to experience in the physical world, they "graduate" from reincarnating and can stay in the spirit realms, sometimes serving as guides to other people in their soul group who are still incarnating or to spiritually inclined people. So, I would imagine new souls are created to make up for the souls who stop reincarnating.

This is assuming that reincarnation is real. If it's not, then after death we all fade into nothingness and that's the end of it. It's up to you to determine what you believe. I hope this answered your questions

There is a web site where allegedly this psychic can chanel a spirit that can identify who has been reincarnated and who they were in their previous lives. It was incredible seeing the visual similarities and occupational similarities between these individuals. This psychic showed who Michael Jackson, Mark Zuckerberg, and others were in previous lives. He also allegedly showed who George Washington, one of the Wright Brothers, Mozart (?), etc., reincarnated into in their next lives.
What is the name of this web-pge?

What is the name of this web-pge?

I read his stuff five years ago, and it seems the psychic changed his web site and no longer shows about fifty or so famous individuals who reincarnated, or at least I did not see it after a quick search of his web site. Previously, his site had the pictures and stories of those who reincarnated. It looks like you can Google and see bits and pieces of his work/conclusions from other web sites.

Here is what I Googled, "Kevin Ryerson Ahtun Re". Kevin is the psych who allegedly channels a spirit guide named Ahtun Re. Ahtun Re allegedly disloses these past life reincarnations through Kevin.

You can probably Google, Kevin Ryerson along with reincarnation and Mark Zuckerberg, Laurel and Hardy, Michael Jackson, the Wright Brothers, Howard Hughes, etc., and piece together many of his readings. I would Google one of these people at a time and not string them all together in one single Google search.

I easily found his stuff on Laurel and Hardy, Anne Frank, and Mark Zuckerberg. I did not check on Michael Jackson, but make sure you do because that story was the most interesting I think. I also think he did one for Mozart (or Bach? or Beethoven?), and he definitely did one for George Washington coming back as General Tommy Franks.

I find this stuff incredibly interesting, and if you do too then digging in is worth the effort.

I don't believe in reincarnation, but sometimes I worry that I will have to bear my earthly ailments for eternity. I don't think I'll go to hell, but I believe God is just. So, I worry if I kill myself trying to escape the pains I'm suffering here, I'll have to continue to bear them until I fully learn the lesson in such tragedies...or maybe for an eternity as a fair punishment for ending my life.

Reincarnation doesn't bother me too much. There's too many variables to think of in that situation for me to really care. I'm terrified of the idea of hell though because I grew up Christian, Baptist specifically, I personally believe there's nothing after death, but I still have thoughts about what if heaven and hell are real and god sends me hell because I committed suicide or because I used to be a piece of shit but no longer am? I'm mostly getting over those thoughts as I inch closer and closer to my ctb date though

Reincarnation is a fictional concept. There is no evidence of such a thing existing. It is a horrifying thought, but I am not scared of it as I do not believe in it. I think there is nothing after this, just like before we were born. Death is freedom from life.
