Why do many people on the forum have such scary avatars? What do you think?

My avatar is a character from American Horror Story called Shachath (aka The Angel of Death) played by Frances Conroy. Although she may look scary, I always found her character so gentle and comforting, and the music that plays in her presence is eerily calming.
