  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

As someone who was raised religious my opinion is that religious people who embraced suicide would rather believe there is nothing after death instead of hell so they become atheists.

Ask yourself whats paradise, living again? Most problems will not be solved by magically resurrecting and living with all the people for a second time. Already failed life once whats the point of failing it twice for eternity. Specially if your problems are tied to your personality and not your circumstances.

Also from a religious standpoint imagine if God would punish people that suicide after death, do you think everyone in the afterlife would be ok and happy with it? 'Look at that kid who was molested multiple times and suicided, lets punish him for eternity'

If there is such thing as god people expect it to be love, happiness and justice. If god doesnt fullfill that idea then god is a douchebag and id rather be atheist than believe in living in a tyranical afterlife.

Sorry for the rant, just wanted to give some insight as someone who used to be on the other side.
And like always I love reading your rants and there's a lot of truth about it.

I'm bordering on atheism right now and that makes me less suicidal. When I believed in God I thought that he would forgive everything, after all if He is everything, he is also sin, at least he believed it (he is responsible). Reincarnation sounds good but it does not have scientific consistency, at least that is what I have come to after reading a lot about it. However, accepting that there is nothing and we are only animals endowed with intelligence and with only 1 life, everything is taken more seriously .
