For me , in nature close to a beautiful view in a moutain or close to a river or ocean.

If i had access to assisted suicide with N it would be in my bed at home with my family and friend but that won't happen soon.

A hotel room on a business trip. No one suspect it before it happened

I want to die at home, warm in my bed with my dog next to me. But also I don't want anyone who loves me having the trauma of finding me so I might end up doing it in a hotel where I'll be found by a stranger who won't be as affected.

I have thought about that. Maybe a delayed message to the police on where to find you so the the hotel staff are not traumatized by it. The police are trained for this stuff

Good idea, and in that case I could send a delayed email to police with my home address so I could die at home (I live alone) and not risk being found by my friend with a spare key coming to check on me. Could avoid the hotel entirely

In my case it wouldn't really matter as long as I manage to succeed, everyone has to die somewhere, someday after all and if I was about to be free of everything then nothing in this world could really matter to me as soon enough I would be gone. But I guess an ideal location would be somewhere quiet far away from other people.

ideally, i would like to CTB in the comfort of my own home. with CO in a tent, that may be tricky. i don't think i will be able to walk all my gear to the location that i've picked (hillside forest), so my garden may be my only option.
