oh yeah, what i'd do for a loaded handgun right nowA firearm is the closest we have, and kind of equivalent if done correctly. Sadly not accessible though unless you're in the US.
Yeah, that's my problem too. This is the first time in my life where I actually envy people living in the US as a European. lmaoA firearm is the closest we have, and kind of equivalent if done correctly. Sadly not accessible though unless you're in the US.
Extremely hilarious to me that one of the few countries where guns are extremely accessible is trying to regulate SN so people don't kill themselves with itYeah, that's my problem too. This is the first time in my life where I actually envy people living in the US as a European. lmao
Certainly a way to look at it, lmaoExtremely hilarious to me that one of the few countries where guns are extremely accessible is trying to regulate SN so people don't kill themselves with it
Although having to kill yourself by blowing your brain up is probably the most American way to go, so I guess it's culture preservation?
I imagine it would be about the same as trying to jump from a skyscraper, which as far as I've heard is pretty hard because of SI.Certainly a way to look at it, lmao
I imagine using a gun being easier than most other methods. As soon as you decide to go forward with it it's most likely done and no way for survival instinct to kick in again and sabotage you. But maybe I'm being naive and pulling that trigger is harder than say ingesting Benzos + SN.
Idk, that sounds way harder for me. Out of all the physically violent ways a gun is the only thing I could imagine doing, everything else (jumping from height, in front of a train/car) indeed sounds way to scary. The gun seems safer to kill fast and painless and actually kill at all, with the other methods I'm primarily scared of falling or surviving with excruciating pain and in a severely crippled state.I imagine it would be about the same as trying to jump from a skyscraper, which as far as I've heard is pretty hard because of SI.
Could be. I guess gunshot would be the easiest to do out of the violent/kinetic suicide methods. I'm probably talking out of bias since I'd personally prefer a chemical/poison suicide.Idk, that sounds way harder for me. I think statistics would back that up, although there have been many survivors of gunshot suicides, too, more than one would imagine. Or maybe I am just spinning here...
I definitely would prefer Pentobarbital as well if it was available. But in the US a gun seems just straightforward and easy to get and in EU we don't even have that...I'm probably talking out of bias since I'd personally prefer a chemical/poison suicide.
