Have you ever loved someone so much you wouldn't let them be born into this hell of a world?

Not because you didn't care but because you cared more than this place ever could.

Before letting them be brought alive
just to be harmed,
just to be broken,
I decided.

I won't have it.

To live is to die.
And somehow they call that love?
And if I love you,
really love you —
how could I throw you into this hell
where you die
and call it a blessing?

I won't pretend this world is safe
when it devours the innocent

Because to love
is to protect.

I keep having this dream where none ever die shame it's just a dream
