• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What is the best way to come out as trans? I'm a trans girl and I really want to tell my mom because I can't hide it anymore, but I'm also afraid to talk to her in person. What is the gentlest and calmest way to do this? I'm really nervous.

I don't have much knowledge in the matter but anything that comes to inform a parent with sensible personal information might need to know things like, whats the parents view on trans people? do you have a good relationship with your mother? and other questions like these that you must ask yourself, so that you can achieve the best conversation with her.
Of course there is always the basics of "say you want to talk about something serious" or that "being trans is something I've felt that was the correct answer for a long time"
Best regards for coming out in the near future

I would give it maybe a little more time, that is if you feel comfortable with the wait. I say this because I know there are other trans members in this community that could have experienced your situation better than me, and thus give better advice.
one can feel obligated so say the truth to their closest family members or friends, and some the contrary, lying to be the best image they once where. Your honesty towards others, or your mother, if it happens tomorrow or another day, will simply...happen, if she likes your words or not is up to her, but don't feel blocked by thoughts on who you are.
if you choose bad words to express yourself the day it comes, you can always try again because you're human, there is no rule that worldwide exists that you must explain someone something only once.
have a good night
