I hate how my friends are so closed-minded despite literally being lgbtq+??? Like one of my friends who is bisexual thinks they/them pronouns and non-binary people are weird and they're just making stuff up and being delusional and she said that if a trans person is a bad person then it's ok to misgender them because trans people "have to earn it" (it meaning to be called by their pronouns) like what???? Nobody in their right mind would misgender a cis person because they need to "earn" or "deserve" being called by their pronouns so why would it be ok to do it to trans people??? And like I get that if the person did bad things you would lack respect for them but their gender identity has nothing to do with it.

On another note, I'm aroace and nobody takes it seriously and it's so annoying. Like I told my friends about it and said something like I'm gonna be single forever in a joyful way because I am happy to stay single because I am aroace and they said noooo you'll find someone NO, NO I WILL NOT. That's the point, I don't want to "find someone" because I want to stay single because I'm aroace. I don't know if they aren't familiar with that orientation or what but I mean two of these people I said it to are bisexual so I thought they'd have more understanding for having an identity that may be different from the majority or whatever. And one of them thinks that he may be demisexual but is unsure and that would make it even more confusing if he is because like brother... We're literally on the same spectrum??? Another one of my friends thinks that it's some kind of disease that I don't want to be intimate with anyone, which I honestly don't even want to comment on.

When it comes to my family, I didn't full on tell them I'm aroace because they don't support the lgbt community but I did say numerous times that I don't plan on finding a partner and I especially don't want to have kids. And again, they don't take it seriously. They say "you'll change your mind, you'll see", and they keep talking about me getting a boyfriend and starting a family like it's an inevitable part of the future, as if I didn't tell them it's not happening.

And don't get me started on people online saying that being asexual and/or aromantic isn't real and it's made up and people who identify as such just want attention like omfg it's the 21st century and we're still doing this? Let people exist. Or don't, I don't wanna exist anyway.

Your friends don't sound like friends at all.

I don't get this entire identity/gender/etc. thing at all but i would respect my friend if he or she was part of that crowd. I am tall and athletically build and so far most friends i had were overweight but i never made fun of them for being overweight or brought it up in conversation.

I lost all but one friend over the years so i might not be a good friend but Jesus Christ your friends are really bad. Remember you can choose friends. If i was you i would search for new friends. Maybe some who are not interested in romance or sex at all.

Segregation is not always a bad thing. I only befriend PC gamers for example. I can't really talk well with people who aren't gamers.

Yeah I don't get what it's like to be non-binary or trans either but that doesn't mean I have anything against those people or that I will disrespect them just because of it.

Honestly, I don't feel that close to any of my friends and we didn't hang out in a while. And I don't care about getting new ones/meeting new people and I genuinely prefer being by myself so I don't mind if I stay friendless.

I think I'd actually prefer that because I find it hard to connect with people and consider them as anything more than acquaintances even though they see me as a friend. It feels kind of shitty and like I'm fake but idk if I can do anything about it, I just struggle to feel a connection with people.

Being alone has it's upsides. I for example love to go to the zoo and look at the animals and take pictures of them with my camera. If anybody would join me they would just annoy me and stress me out. I need peace and quiet for good photos.
