• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Many people who struggle with suicidal thoughts are also dealing with mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, etc. What do you feel has been the biggest obstacle to your healing or recovery? Has treatment not worked for you? Has something else gotten in the way?
I'm interested in hearing what you feel has been the biggest barrier in your own experience

There is something that I can't understand, why almost the whole society is thinking that the therapy is the master solution? I have been there several times and it never worked, why? because no matter what we talk, situations will continue there after the conversation, and that is why I ask "why the society is thinking that therapy is the master solution" a conversation won't fix things that already happened, telling me "it is not your fail" during the conversation? and what we are getting from that sentence? there are persons in wheelchair for the rest of their lives due to a drunk driver, of course the fail there is from the drunk driver, but telling "it is not your fail" to the person in wheelchair, it is not sending the wheelchair away, that is why I think the sentence "it is not your fail" is useless in this situation, and it is a hell because the society is like "if the therapy failed then go to therapy again to fail again 1000 times, and after those 1000 fails go to therapy again" why? if the therapy failed why you don't continue with the next logical step that is my peaceful death "no, no peaceful death, go to therapy again because I don't care if therapy is not working, we are so selfish so we need you paying taxes, we don't care if we place you in a loop of unlimited therapy failing, just pay taxes while you suffer during 70 years because we are extremely selfish and we don't care how you feel"

Depends on what exactly healing means to different people. If it's healing in the sense that I become functional to society again, gainfully employed and that kind of thing I'd rather not. On the other hand my personal idea of healing is too unrealistic. I see healing as fixing all the failures and traumas that led me here. Admittedly my ego gets in the way a lot as well, I can probably scrounge up the means to live in a mediocre way, but why would I settle for that?

Probably the way my brain works now and the current state of the world.
It keeps me down every time I try to get up and heal.
I wish I wasn't so sensitive, it feels stupid at my age.

My relationships with other people. Find it hard to have healthy and sustainable friendships and community belongings due to my own issues, as well as the transactional nature of society. I figure healing can't be done in isolation. So now I just stop giving a fuck and live my peaceful isolation life for as long as possible.

40 years if living through bullshit. It has shown me that I do not enjoy life and would not like to deal with another 40 years.

I don't really know. I go to a therapist and a psychiatrist but it didn't help me with my main problem which is BDD and I am still suicidal
