Discussion What would you do?

Before you ctb, would you
1) remove as much info of you as you can (both irl and on the web): deleting accounts and files, getting rid of your notebooks, etc
2) remove only some parts of your life you don't want to be found/ to keep a certain image of you
3) do nothing with all that stuff you ever did?

I personally can't answer this one, I'm somewhere between the 1) and 2) options but maybe it's just my ego speaking

I'm leaning towards 1) as there's a lot of things I don't want found. It's nothing bad I just value my privacy. But I do want to write a lengthy note to my family explaining why I made the choice to leave. I'd rather them read that than read my diaries from years ago. I've already started shredding them. I didn't think it would be so hard to let them go

I plan to provide information to things I consider important such as my phone, some media accounts, and photo archives but that's about it. I don't really have anything to hide, but I do want to ensure certain people never find out if possible. So between 2 and 3 I think

I don't have much I'm ashamed of. I suppose I worry for the forum if they link my suicide to it. But, I don't feel ashamed to be here. I've found life difficult throughout. It's become my way of trying to cope with it till I feel like I no longer have to.

2. I've been such a fake person to others for basically all of my life, I wish to accurately represent some sense of my "true self" especially if it would be the last chance I get.
So I'd want to try to ensure my image is at the very least slightly more accurate to who I truly am.
On the bright side, I don't think most people will remember the fake, I can't even remember much of it myself, it was all very meaningless. Its all already likely mostly forgotten.

3. because i don't care about anything anymore :(
