Hi, I'm going to CTB tonight by full suspension hanging. I probably have 20-30 minutes left before I do it (need to put away a couple of things, then proofread and print my notes). It's feeling more real. I'm a bit scared, not because of doubt, but because I don't really know what to expect.

Does anyone know from failed attempts or research how it feels? I remember you go unconscious pretty quickly, I think like 30 seconds. I've done research but a lot of that was a while ago. What does it feel like? Will I be in a lot of pain?

I'm sorry. I don't know anything but I want to wish you good luck on your journey. I hope you can find peace. Fair winds.

I'm afraid none of us know exactly what will happen, as it's all dependent on the individual. The only true knowledgeable ones are those that succeeded and they can't tell their tale. You are right though to expect consciousness to be lost quickly and it's known as the 'painless form of death' in India, if that's any consolation.
