• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have a 10 month lease remaining. Probs will CTB by end of year due to chronic illness.

I have a few nice things. A nice book collection and some nice computers. What to do with my stuff?

Thinking about paying out the rest of my lease and then sending a message to my remaining family and a close friend in the area that they can pick up what they want.

I am going to ask my husband to give my jewelry and finery out to my mom, sisters, friends and goddaughters, then keep some money, give some to the same people, donate the rest to specific causes. Probably I'll like to donate my clothes and such. Mostly, I just want to be gone, but make a good impact. Don't want to be remembered.
Curious about your computers, I'm new (ignorant) about tech, learning a little more.
I hope all is well with you.

Is your husband aware of your plan to CTB? That's very supportive.

I feel you. I sense our experience after death is exactly what our experience before being born was like - nothingness.

Anything in particular? I like video games :D they're distracting. I'm not one of those crypto people.

I don't have much, but I've written a will as well as recorded a video declaring I leave all of my possessions to my brother, which include my car and gaming computer. I've already started to tidy up my place, and will pack things in boxes on the day I CTB (2 weeks from now).

Part of me believes that it's all pointless as I'll be dead, but part of me still cares, even if it all turns out to be pointless in the end.

Sorry you are here Luke.

Getting organized for an attempt can be psychologically horrible. I'm sorry you're suffering so much. I wish all countries had a legal process for euthanasia to make attempting less agonizing and also help provide objective perspective on whether it's even appropriate. I'm guessing you aren't in one of those benevolent countries, but I suppose I don't know.
