Discussion What is your method of choice and why is it your preferred method?

I'm really interested in knowing about other peoples preferences dealing with suicide.

For me the most ideal method would be a painless guaranteed death that causes no more pain and no more suffering as all I hope for is to never wake ever again, I just wish for the peace of an eternal sleep where all is finally gone and forgotten, I always wish for access to Nembutal so finally I can escape from and find peace from the cruel, torturous abomination of existence but of course all the suffering just continues. I always see so much cruelty in how I cannot just have a death like never waking ever again even know this existence was so tragically imposed causing all this suffering as a result and I suffer simply from existing, I'd just never wish to suffer in this existence, it's just so terrible to me how the suffering and torture of human existence is seen as to force and prolong no matter what.

Preferred method of dying? Peacefully in my sleep.
Preferred method of suicide? Probably CO-poisoning from car in garage, at least that way i can listen to good music while floating away. Would also try to get really drunk at the same time so as not to notice as much.

I'd prefer to die peacefully at a clinic with professionals who (hopefully) know what they're doing. As it is, I've settled on SN as it seemed like the next most peaceful (ish) (hopefully) method I felt comfortable aquiring. I've no wish to break the law and try and obtain something illegal. Inert gas also sounds do-able but, I don't fancy sourcing all the equipment and having to store a big tank safely. (Especially with nosey neighbours.) I'd really like a back up method but, I'm struggling to decide on what.

It would have been N, I was willing to travel to Peru or wherever but it seems like it's significantly harder to get now.
Plan B is SN - still looking for a source.
Plan C is starve for several weeks, knock back an egregious amount of Monster Energy and hope my heart gives out.

My method, because it's cheap and peaceful, is culinary grade nitrous oxide tank with regulator, anaesthesia face mask, rubber band.

1. connect the regulator hose (tip cut off) designed for the nitrous oxide tank to the face mask,
2. then put on face mask,
3. which is held on tight by a thick rubber band,
4. then just go to sleep
