If you have watched hanging video what information are you in search of. For me it was mostly about how much pain. How fast is it to unconsciousness and what is the best position for the noose

Did you watch many? The ones I've seen seem fairly peaceful. Doesn't seem right.

When I watched hanging videos on gore websites I wanted to know how to do it properly and how much suffering is involved before one loses consciousness. After long and hard thinking about ctb with a rope, I made a decision that this method is not for me. So I decided I would use the SN method instead when the time comes.

Yes, I wonder what it takes to get to the point where you just do it. I know for me I don't see how much more pain I have to be in to commit? I am in so much emotional pain I don't see how it can get even worse to put me to that point but I hope it comes today because I am ready for all my problems to be solved.

100% agree. I don't possibly know what else I need to push me over the edge. I am ready too. I hope we find peace soon

There are 3 reasons why I changed my mind about the hanging method. The first one was, no matter how many times I tried I just couldn't do it without the SI kicking in, and while I attempted this method I got a feeling like my head was gonna explode and my eyes pop out, and while all of this was happening I was nowhere near of losing consciousness. The second reason is (this one is not very important to me) I just don't want to be found that way. Hanging victims often look harrowing. The third reason is the fact that in my lawless and most corrupt European country - North Macedonia, anyone can buy SN with just an ID. I wasn't even asked why I needed it, can you believe that?

I watch videos like this because it gives me the impression of doing it and I find that death is silent, fast and not painful. So yes, there are convulsions but it happens after the person has fallen asleep. I enjoy putting myself in their place

Here is my full story how I obtained my antiemetics. It was July, I went to my GP and that day it was so crowded in his office I would have had to wait for an hour at least during a 40°C day and because inside was so hot and I cannot such hot weather I went to a private practitioner instead. The private practitioner cost quite a lot of money (for my country's low income standards) I lied to him, I told him that I have nauseating migraines and he gave me a prescription for meto without any problems. The metoclopramide (here is called Reglan) and it cost barely 3-4$
I had most problems with acquiring the benzos. Since there are TONS of drug addicts that abuse them here, they are not so easily given, but I managed to get them too. My benzo of choice is Xanax.

The first time I saw a video of a real attempt I wanted to confirm that the information I had read was true.

I was also curious about what all the stages in the death mechanism looked like and what to expect at each stage.

They are good material to learn, analyze and study. And also provide new ideas about the different anchor points used.

I pay attention to everything I watch in them, visual/graphic material is always a good source of information.

It is very difficult in my country to buy guns legally. You can buy them illegally but you risk getting yourself into a big trouble.

There were accidental partial hangings of auto-erotic asphyxiation, "regular suicides", and bizarre stuff where someone found someone dead from hanging, had sex with the corpse, then killed himself too.
From these pics i get that partial hanging is very easy, can be done with rope and cable, is cheap and available.
I do not understand how there are so many failure stories on this site. Are these all people where SI kicks in at the last moment and they undo the rope?

By now I can only talk about partial hanging, but to me, SI was the big obstacle. Probably I did something wrong, but I felt very uncomfortable and panicked. You need a very strong will to get it done imo. Which I unfortunately didn't have by now

I have watched a lot - and I just observe closely to see the things that might make a difference - position of noose, how fast consciousness is lost, is there pain and how disturbing the convulstion

YOu lean a lot and there are things that I add to my own CTB when I get there which is likely soon

Any particular takeaways for you? For fsh it seems noose high, above Adams apple, and knot behind neck seem most common advice. Still the fear of pain to overcome too
